Scholar of the First Sin is a good re-release of Dark Souls 2. The higher frame rate works miracles and the even higher difficulty level together with the mixed content will surprise even Dark Souls 2-veterans.

RIDE is not unique enough to really be in stores. The variation in motorcycles is impressive and visually speaking RIDE is perfectly fine. But, the game is so full of cliches, dated graphics and other annoying elements, it is simply not fun to play.

We would rather have seen the option to travel to work with our Sims from the release on, but thankfully the start-your-own-store-mode makes up for that. Running your own shop makes this a challenging and worthy expansion for the fans, especially as the animations are brilliant.

Axiom Verge is a constant surprise to gamers. The surroundings are interesting and change often. The weapons and items are rewarded with perfect timing. It's brilliant.

Bloodborne has a lot of similarities with Dark Souls, but it will surprise you as you will need to make changes to survive Yharnam. Without losing depth, this game offers a high gameplay speed. We enjoy the great level design, the subtle story and the city. The only issue we have encountered were frame rate drops and long loading times.

Obviously this game is one big commercial party for the movie, but we must say that this add-on does offer more than just demo-like gameplay. Ignore Ludacris and focus on unlocking eleven new cars, drive online and feel that awesome freedom that comes with driving in Forza Horizon 2.

Life is Strange is still a great game in this second episode. The feel, the dialogues, they are great. The gameplay elements are a nice extra in this movie-esque game, but they are not always as well done as the rest of the game.

We might be a bit sick and tired of all the videogame remasters, but Borderlands: The Handsome Collection awakens us. The huge amount of content, the updated visuals and the option to play together with three of your friends are all great add-ons to an already awesome videogame. The only downside to this collection is the technical imperfection, especially within the Pre-Sequel.

Tales from the Borderlands offers even more of that strong Borderlands-humor in this second episode. The characters get a bit more depth and we meet Handsome Jack, the bad guy. This is a must for Borderlands fans.

Cities: Skylines makes up for everything SimCity did wrong. It offers the possibility of making gigantic cities in which infrastructure is key. Building a city that does well sometimes gets a bit too easy, which also shows the limited offer in buildings. Thankfully the quickly growing community knows what to use the Steam Workshop for. This is only going to get better.

The 'HD' part in this title is a lie, but Square Enix does make up for it. Type-O is the refreshment that the FF-franchise can use. Both gameplay and story show courage, with its dynamic fighting system and the story that often gets really dark. It is not perfect, but Final Fantasy Type-0 definitely is a game that fits in the franchise.

If you play Hardline like you'd play Battlefield 4, in Conquest, it feels like Battlefield light without tanks or jets. The multiplayer offers a way more interesting gameplay, as the strong base gets a few fun new modes. The cops 'n robbers-thing Hardline does may have felt like a lighthearted experiment; it gets pretty clear that the theme fits perfectly with the compact action and that higher tempo, which makes this game more than just a snack.

Episode 4 is a remarkably disappointing end to a very nice series. There is nothing left of the strong gameplay of Barry and Natalia at the end, and Claire and Moira do not add anything to the game anymore. It is such a pity, especially because our sympathy for this game grew every week and gets torn down in an instant.

Technically speaking Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey is a sloppy product that is not episodic due to creative reasons, but because of the budget and the development team. Ragnar Tornquist is able to create worlds and characters in a brilliant, mature way. That brilliant writing is actually what saves this first chapter.

OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood is a game that takes you skyhigh just to drop you down painfully. This hardcore game needs perfect timing, offers a great diversity in surroundings and a great soundtrack. Too bad the local multiplayer is not added to this awesome game yet.

Valley of the Yetis is without a doubt the biggest downloadable content for Far Cry 4. The snowy valleys are a great place to spend your time, and the nightly defense missions and the yeti are a great addition to the original gameplay. The yeti could have been a tad more challenging though.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is as stylish, sick and hypnotizing as its predecessor but at some points things go south. The levels are too chaotic and the characters limit your playstyle.

Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines is a beautiful JRPG with a few interesting twists to the genre. The fighting system works great and building up your own clan while having the pressure of time makes it more interesting. Although that time pressure does come with some old-fashioned frustration.

Mario Party 10 is meant to be for every player, and therefore it has lost some of its evil ways. That does make it more accessible for new gamers. The Amiibo mode is more classic, but unfortunately you need the figurines for that.

Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters may impress when it comes to its mature storytelling and themes, it does not fully deliver those things. This is a weak mix between a visual novel and a strategic RPG full of useless minigames.

We appreciate Moon Studios' attempts at creating something unique, but not all of their attempts were uniformly successful. The ambiance is what makes this a great game as you want to explore everything about this beautiful world. Too bad the platforming bit is too dependent on luck.

DmC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition is a re-release that is actually worth it. The brilliant game Devil May Cry was, gets polished exactly where it needed to be updated. For example the higher frame-rate and the difficulty level that is changeable.

The Bright Lord is good extra content. It does not feel very renewing, but because it is a bit more about spectacular swordfighting this DLC is not forgettable. Using The Ring feels exactly how it is supposed to: epic and powerful. We totally get why Gollum loves that thing so much.

As always it is a great feeling to puzzle your cutesy Mini's all the way to the end door. It is solid puzzle-gameplay with a happy feel to it, but it does not really excite us. Nothing new is added to the franchise and the TV does not add anything to the game besides better graphics.

People who enjoyed episodes 1 and 2 will definitely enjoy this third entry. But that also means that Episode 3 does not really offer anything to attract new fans. It is more of the same, without any form of evolution. But, the constant fun we have had makes this title still feel like a good buy.

The Raid-mode is still the most enticing part about Resident Evil: Revelations 2. The gameplay is great, but unfortunately the lack of variation starts to break up this mode already. Thankfully the campaign mode is getting more interesting now.

Helldivers is an excellent mix of tactics and action. The freedom it offers through weapons and Stratagem-skills makes it possible for everybody to create their own way of playing this game. The difficulty level is nice and high, which makes the co-op experience even more intense. This game might look a bit generic, the gameplay is so much fun that you won't even notice.

Dragon Ball XenoVerse is, without a doubt, the best Dragon Ball-game in ages. The balanced fighting system and the typical chaotic over-the-top fights fit perfectly together. Making your own Dragon Ball-character to play the alternative story is fun. Unfortunately the game is stymied by unstable servers, camera issues and the compulsory grinding.

The Raid mode alone would make us buy this game. Resident Evil: Revelations 2 combines challenging strong gameplay with depth, which makes for a very entertaining product. We would have liked to see a bit more variety in this mode. Let's see what the other episodes will add to the story-driven campaign.

ScreamRide is not about a theme park, it is about an experience. A nice game for speed freaks and destroyers, because it feels great to crash your ride into a building. However, the futuristic setting combined with all these separate levels and a separate tutorial makes this game feel a bit optional.
