If you like sand-box games, you have to play InFamous. It's got a good story, unique powers and a city where you can explore a lot. It is a great debut for Sucker Punch on the PS3!

Super Smash Bros. is a worthy fighting game on the 3DS. The game hasn’t lost any of its depth. The arenas are smaller though, and the gameplay may not be optimal for the fanatic players. The lack of a singleplayer storymodus also irks. Still, this game is able to provide fun for hundred of hours.

Severed is one of the best PS Vita games ever, and the touch controls are used well. The game is a constant surprise full of smart gameplay features, items and magical powers. It is very fun to explore this world as it keeps on challenging you until the end.

After a mind-boggling start, you come to understand Far Cry 5 better along the way, until the point where you do not want to leave Hope County anymore. The well-shaped world is filled with stuff to do and the charismatic villains are a great addition to the experience.

World at War is actually Call of Duty 4 in disguise. Not every change is an improvement, but fans of Modern Warfare will probably enjoy its follow-up just as much, given that they aren’t tired of World War 2 by now. The multiplayer remains addictive, and the online co-op mode is an awesome addition, and together they make this one of the surprises of 2008.

On console Original Sin is still amazing. New buttons, new content; they are both great. The PC version is still our favorite, as there are less steps needed for the same action. But it does not matter if you have played Original Sin before or you are a new player, it is still a must have thanks to its local co-op and excellent voice acting.

Transistor creates a place that you want to understand, where you don't want to be, yet at the same time don't want to leave. It's a game you will never forget, despite the somewhat sloppy end. We can only wish to play Transistor for the very first time again, to enjoy this wonderful world and equally special music without any prior knowledge. Transistor will never let you go.

The Nathan Drake Collection is a strong remaster. The issues from the first game are almost all gone and the games look amazing. Especially Among Thieves and Drake's Deception are as fantastic as they used to be. This collection is a must-have for people that missed those originals, but it is good to replay them too.

Gemini Rue is an homage to the point-and-click adventure games of old and shows that the mobile platform lends itself greatly to this. The nostalgia will drag you down into a dark neo-noir science fiction world, with well thought out puzzles and surprising resolution. Combined with fresh action scenes and an impressive soundtrack, make Gemini Rue a, somewhat short, masterpiece.

This game really blew us away. From the tons of missions to the fantastic story, the game doesn’t disappoint. One might say that fighting over and over again feels a little bit boring, but we can’t get enough of it. The fights are intense and will challenge you to think about your actions. One wrong decision and you might lose the war.

This was an easy one for Capcom, just porting the Gamecube version of Resident Evil to the current gen platforms. But we cannot complain, as Resident Evil still is one of the best designed games in videogame history. Some players will dislike some of the mechanics, but others will discover a complete game that has come together perfectly.

Resistance 2 is a worthy successor. The single-player-campaign is action packed and the game contains more than enough different weapons, as we’ve come to expect from Insomniac. Resistance 2 lacks in the story department and is visually unimpressive, but makes up for it in terms of content. The online multiplayer can accommodate up to sixty players, and, together with the online co-op mode with parallel storyline, guarantees more than enough gameplay to keep you warm until Christmas.

Trials fusion is pretty much the same as its predecessors. The great gameplay is still there, in a shinier outfit. The expanded Track Editor and extra challenges give the game a lot of replay value, and tricks make for extra variety. Trials Fusion is a great Trials-game.

Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon's Keep is a slightly eccentric combination of a bunch of elements that usually can't be mixed. Tina's fantastical reimagining of the main story from a multi-functional role: it's an ode and parody to all sorts of geeky things, gives more insight into the characters of Borderlands 2 and critiques average game design. Humor and tragic are being mixed in the same way as the main story, and there's enough to keep you entertained for a while.

OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood is a game that takes you skyhigh just to drop you down painfully. This hardcore game needs perfect timing, offers a great diversity in surroundings and a great soundtrack. Too bad the local multiplayer is not added to this awesome game yet.

Xcom 2 offers the same challenging turn-based gameplay and tactical possibilities on consoles as it does on pc. It is such a thrill to lure aliens in your trap, while connecting emotionally to the soldiers that work for you. It is too bad the loading times are a tad long.

Emblem Fates is the most extended game in the series, thanks to three storylines that are a tad cliche. Thankfully the strategic gameplay and complex tactics make up for that, cause this game can pull you in and take tens of hours of your time.

Dust: An Elysian Tail is a near perfect Arcade title. The anime style isn't really as special as it could have been and not all the voice acting is up to par, but it has a deep and mature story line spanning easily fifteen hours (counting the side quests and challenge arena's) and a fighting system that makes you want to pick up the controller every time. Dust: An Elysian Tail is simply one of the best titles the Xbox Live Arcade has to offer.

The season mode might not have changed, but the improved physics in NHL 13 compensate for that easily. More often than ever situations unfold like they would in a real hockey match. NHL 13 deserves to be crowned as the most realistic hockey game ever.

After seven years of waiting Company of Heroes 2 doesn't disappoint. The great gameplay like we know it from he series, doesn't give way and only gets more intense thanks to the wintery weather and TrueSight. It's a shame though that the story lacks impact and the AI has a few hiccups. Still, Company of Heroes 2 is a fantastic game that guarantees more than enough strategic pleasure.
