The new Hitman is excellent: the levels are designed well and offer a great environment to plan the perfect murder time and time again. The loading times are a letdown, but the excitement is greater than that.

Civilization has come a long way over the years. There are so many options in this strategy game, it makes us dizzy. It might be a tough cookie for people that are not familiar with Civ, but for experts this is a near perfect Civilization game.

We might be a bit sick and tired of all the videogame remasters, but Borderlands: The Handsome Collection awakens us. The huge amount of content, the updated visuals and the option to play together with three of your friends are all great add-ons to an already awesome videogame. The only downside to this collection is the technical imperfection, especially within the Pre-Sequel.

The single player is quite varied when it comes to weapons, levels and gameplay elements. The OWL also offers players a few interesting tactical choices, which make certain sections of the game highly replayable. Top that off with some great visuals and a high framerate, and we’ve got ourselves a great shooter that’s worth buying for the single player alone.

It takes a little time to get used to (especially the controls), but thanks to Tech Web and the Affinities this is an awesome Civilization game. It is unpredictable, it looks great and there is a lot of freedom to do your own thing.

343 Industries shows that it is not shy of renewing a franchise so familiar. Especially with Arena, it shows how much quicker and more precise Halo 5 feels. Thanks to the perfect combination of shooting, hitting and throwing grenades, it is still exactly what we have loved about this franchise over the last 15 years.

Anno 1404 is a terrific game and will keep you entertained for a long time. It gives the player challenges after challenges, and you won't get easily bored. It also looks really good. The only downside is the lack of strategic elements.

The Witcher 3 is much more sloppy and than expected, and the graphic quality of the Northern Kingdoms is a disappointment. However, the game is still so good that we accept these issues. This fantasy world is great, offers plenty of detail and keeps pulling you back in.

OlliOlli is about a flow; a balance between fun and challenge, in which rhythm and skills are crucial. The game does this in such a convincing manner, that you’ll gladly return for daily grinds, even if it is just to reach that top 100.

Valiant Hearts: The Great War is a history lesson as you have not experienced it, ever. The story is full of touching moments, small pieces of joy and at the same time it shows the horrific impacts of war. The gameplay remains varied, although the puzzles are a bit repetitive.

Shadow of Mordor is the best Lord of the Rings-game ever, maybe because it ignores so many of Tolkien's written rules. Thanks to the fantastic Nemesis-system and the familiar feeling of climbing and fighting, this game knows how to avoid the curse of bad licensed games.

Everything that had made World of Warcraft a success can be found in Wildstar as well. Fortunately, the game - thanks to its cartoonish sci-fi western appearance, active combat system and humor - has its own identity. For newcomers to the genre Wildstar is ideal, but for MMO veterans Wildstar has plenty to offer too.

The game may perhaps be over too soon, but Shovel Knight does not take a cheap route to your your nostalgic feelings, and goes one step further by being a great stand-alone platformer.

Grid Autosport is a fine racing game with enjoyable driving experience, a lot of variety in types of (race) cars and an extensive online multiplayer mode. We can forgive the fact that the game doesn't look good in every respect: it has no negative influence on the experience of racing. By far the most impressive thing about the game is the AI, that asks everything of you to win races, again and again.
