Xenoblade Chronicles X is not the big step forward that Xenoblade on Wii was. But it does leave a big impression with its phenomenally big environments. It is an excellent JRPG that is challenging and refreshing for players that want something different.- InsideGamer.nl

Monument Valley is a beautiful digital work of art that’s a joy to play with its fascinating puzzles and amazing looking levels. Every level plays with perspective, the laws of nature and a simply unique experience with its great use of color, sounds and music. Too bad it’s really short though.- InsideGamer.nl

It remains so close to the original that all weaknesses - despite the improvements - are still present. Once again, it turns out that every work of art has its imperfections.- InsideGamer.nl

Gravity Rush is unique in multiple ways. Playing with gravity takes a while to get used to, but thanks to the intuitive controls, the game soon plays like a dream. Together with the amazing visual style and great cut-scenes this makes Gravity Rush a true work of art.- InsideGamer.nl

The missing maps and lesser graphics don't affect the core of XCOM. It can easily keep you occupied for twenty hours or more on the iPad, even if you've played the game on other platforms before. A great game gone mobile.- InsideGamer.nl

Do not expect anything too new about Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, and you will enjoy a very extended version of Pokémon Sun and Moon with a huge Pokédex, a bigger story and many smaller tweaks. The original was a brilliant title and this one shows it still is.- InsideGamer.nl

Resident Evil 2 is an excellent remake that takes great stuff from the original and adds something to that. It does make the game pretty different, but that works.- InsideGamer.nl

A sparkling game full of cute character, funny situations and spectacular boss battles. It’s a shame the bad recognition of symbols sometimes get in the way of the chaotic and fast gameplay. And the game sometimes gets frustrating when new enemies kill you before you even get a chance to find out their weaknesses. But despite it all, Platinum Games delivers a solid title that is interesting and beautiful in many ways.- InsideGamer.nl

Red Faction: Guerrilla is a sandbox game in its purest form. Watching giant structures collapse is an absolute thrill, and although the characters and their backgrounds aren't very compelling, the awesome weapons and great amount of side missions will take players on a path of destruction for hours to come.- InsideGamer.nl

Tiger Woods 10 is a good golf game. It has some nice enhancements in the gameplay area, such as the precision putting and the addition of the US Open-course.- InsideGamer.nl

It's a shame that Kokuga hasn't realized its potential because it was developed for Nintendo 3DS. The lack of a second stick makes your vehicle less flexible than you'd like and the many enemies often don't fit on the screen. Having said that: the pacing has been slowed down a tad and levels don't scroll along automatically, which works perfectly with the flaws of the 3DS. Aside from that, the card system work sublimely and provides the game with a tactical dimension. It helps Kokuga draw the maximum out of the handheld, so it'll offer you a full fledged experience at a digital price.- InsideGamer.nl

A wonderful fighting game. Netherrealm managed to combine all of the good Mortal Kombat had to offer, with the charm of the DC Comics, without incident. Online and offline it provides great over-the-top gameplay for starting players, and offers enough depth for the more experienced players. This depth can be found in the form of interactive levels, individual moves and powers. Aside from that it offers a huge amount of different and unique characters to play with, and lots of content that'll satisfy any DC-fanatic.- InsideGamer.nl

An incredible hack 'n slash game with a great fighting system that is shown beautifully on screen. Moves seamlessly come together under the guidance of an amazing soundtrack, which constantly pushes you to set an even better score. That this symbiosis of style and content isn't found in the other elements of the game, becomes painfully clear when Dante is trying to act though with bad jokes and terrible one-liners. The writers hint towards an intelligent and deep plot, but when it fails to deliver the disappointment is even bigger. DmC: Devil May Cry is played for the action, and the stylish, beautiful action alone.- InsideGamer.nl

The many challenges ibb & obb offer make for many hours of co-op fun and give puzzle aficionados are real challenge. The game turns the player upside down and the beautiful visuals and music make ibb & obb a blast to play. It could’ve been even better with a good hint system and an alternative for voice chat. It might not be the new Braid or Journey, but with ingenious puzzles and a great visual style Dutch indie studio Sparpweed puts itself on the map.- InsideGamer.nl

Skylanders Swap Force is the best Skylanders game yet. Graphically it’s seen some major improvements, it’s quite varied and the amount of content can keep kids busy for countless hours. Its still leaves a bad taste in your mouth though, because you’ll have to spend a lot of money if you want to get the most out of it.- InsideGamer.nl

The gorgeous sea world in Abzû is very beautiful and relaxing, but can also be exciting. It will only take you two hours to swim your way through the story and there is not much freedom, but it is an amazing experience to remember.- InsideGamer.nl

Papers, Please is interesting enough to try on its unique base alone, but it's not only the special concept of playing as a customs employee that makes it worth it. Looking for falsified papers, stamping documents and the necessary ethical dilemmas make Papers, Please a game like no other. Glory to Arstotzka!- InsideGamer.nl

Star Ocean: The Last Hope is a pretty good RPG. It has an interesting story, strong characters and there is a lot of room for exploration. Besides that, it has a very good fighting system. The downfall is the slow pace of the story, but that shouldn't stop you from buying it!- InsideGamer.nl

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn shows that FFXIV can be saved. The game was declared dead, but with the perseverance of Square Enix a strong game rises from the ashes. There'll be a few lingering annoyances for players here and there, but the beautiful world and typical Final Fantasy elements will keep you hooked for long.- InsideGamer.nl

Astral Chain is the most diverse game PlatinumGames has made and offers fascinating and varied gameplay. Some elements, such as the platforms and the silent protagonist, are not completely visible and the Switch itself seems to collapse occasionally under all this content, but the flashy action and the cool police work make up for that.- InsideGamer.nl

This is the best version of the popular puzzle-rpg that we have seen. The Mario-version feels a bit like an easy choice, but again it offers easy to play, deep gameplay that is solid as a rock. Without microtransactions but including a new storyline plus a lot of Mario, this is the ideal way of getting to know the Puzzle & Dragons-phenomenon. - InsideGamer.nl

The biggest compliment that I can lodge against Killzone: Mercenary is that is simply works. It’s a complete FPS-game that wouldn’t be misplaced on consoles and works excellently on the Vita thanks to the hardware’s features. Visually it’s stunning, but the game is a bit short and the touch controls do annoy slightly from time to time. The very entertaining multiplayer more than makes up for that though.- InsideGamer.nl

As a devote Chrono Trigger fan myself I have to admit that Chrono Trigger DS could have used some more improvements than just some touchscreen controls, an extra dungeon and a monster battle system. Still, this remains one of the best games ever made, and newcomers to the game should definitely pick it up right away. The way the compelling story, interesting characters, inspiring music and great gameplay are combined into one game, is something that RPGs to date haven't easily surpassed.- InsideGamer.nl

Ratchet & Clank: Nexus is a worthy final addition to a long running series and offers everything that the duo is known for: humor, fun gadgets, innovative weapons, puzzles and enough climbing and jumping. Everyone that enjoyed the series shouldn't miss Nexus, but it's also a great place for newcomers to take a look at what it has to offer.- InsideGamer.nl

Supreme Commander 2 is more accessible than the original game, that’s good for those new to the series but veterans might be a bit disappointed. The scale however, manages to impress and in the end that’s what it is all about in a RTS.- InsideGamer.nl

The translation from the consoles to the PC is a mission done well by Capcom. Although the extras aren't that interesting and you see the loading screens a bit too long, the PC-version has a lot of positives sides as well. And the way you control the game is perfect, and it does contain some extras as well. Resident Evil 5 is a much more polished game on the PC, that makes everything looks a bit better than on the console.- InsideGamer.nl
