Need for Speed: Shift has found the right direction once again. The race feeling with the most cars is fantastic and the game looks great. There is enough to do and the experience system invites the player to do races more than once.

Tiger Woods 10 is a good golf game. It has some nice enhancements in the gameplay area, such as the precision putting and the addition of the US Open-course.

There is less gameplay in this last episode, but the story ends perfectly, accompanied by intense cut-scenes and the biggest choice you ever had to make in this game. The soundtrack is brilliant, the key characters are relatable and the game offers a lot of entertaining elements, that we will remember for a long time.

LEGO Dimensions is a bizarre spectacle. It is weird and amazing to see well-known franchises come together, but at the same time this game is full of contradictions. The portal and LEGO figurines are perfect, but the gameplay has the same instability we are accustomed to in this franchise. Thankfully LEGO is one of the best toys to come to life, so TT is definitely going in the right direction with Dimensions.

Captain Toad is just a little bit better and more beautiful on Switch. It is a pity we can't play the Super Mario 3D-levels anymore, but we do get some very nice new ones instead.

Sunset Overdrive is creative and unique, especially in presentation and gameplay. It is too bad the mission structure is conventional, but we cannot be bothered as we have missed raging through a city Crackdown-style and Sunset Overdrive brings back that same grin on our faces.

Gameplay is king and Housemarque proves it. Alienation does nothing new, but it does everything to perfection. The gameplay is addictive: a great mix of collecting, action, fighting, role playing and the upgrading of weapons.

The excellent controls and visuals make Rayman Fiesta run a joy to play. The renewed construction of the world also offers more variety then before. Too bad it’s quite short and there’s no reason to come back after finishing it.

Dishonored is an amazing game, but has its lesser moments. The ingenuity and creativity that can be used by the player is nothing short of spectacular at times and the steam punk style fits the world perfectly. On the other hand the developer could have spent more time on storytelling and the game has some technical faults. Because of this Dishonored never really lives up to its full potential.

Dead or Alive 5 suffers from stylistic schizophrenia; it switches between the semi-erotic style of Itagaki and the semi-realistic style of Hayashi. This gets on your nerves from time to time, especially for fans of the series. But even fans can't deny that the fifth part in the series is a damn good fighter; a fighter with possibly the best 3D fighting system ever.

The Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection has made quite an impression on us. It brings two classics to the Vita and adds some neat features that make use of the Vita's capabilities. It is a shame that the PSP-classic Peace Walker has been taken out of the package.

This game has a lot of elements that are not new, but Slegdehammer did change them a little. That is fine, although it could distract from how extremely well this game franchise is made. This is a great game, which is more dynamic thanks to the exo-suit.

Fast Racing Neo has its futuristic racing heart in the right place. It looks great, it is superfast and offers good tracks. Another way of enjoying this awesome game is to play the multiplayer.

Yoshi's Woolly World is a good new game in the Yoshi's Island-series. Its art style is fun throughout the whole game, as well as the upbeat soundtrack. Every world surprises with new bosses and enemies, which makes it even more a pity that you can go through it really quickly if you do not collect everything there is to collect.

Nine years after its initial release Kirby's Epic Yarn still is a very special platform game. The worlds are beautiful and creative. We also welcome the new Devilish Mode, which makes the game more challenging.

The Outer Worlds seems to be inspired by the Fallout series, but this brand new franchise can stand on its own two feet. With a complete universe full of memorable characters, interesting stories, beautiful environments and spicy choices, this is a wonderful game to lose yourself in.

A Plague Tale: Innocence is a surprisingly good game that is perfectly balanced. The game really impressed us with the way a group of kids is placed in a gruesome, hostile world. It makes us forget about all those rough edges and shallow bad guys.

The Story Mode is not as a good as it thinks it is: why is that stupid block button still there? But still, Mortal Kombat 11 is one of the best, refined versions of a fighter that has definitely claimed its place in the genre.

New Super Luigi U is a big expansion. You get 82 redesigned levels and extra challenging gameplay for twenty Euros. Controlling Luigi takes some getting used to though. But when you hit that ideal line through the levels it does deliver on satisfaction. You do finish these levels much faster than in New Super Mario Bros. U due time limits, so don't expect it to entertain you as long as the original.

Tropico 3 is a difficult, but never an unfair game. Is your financial plan in order, then the political problems will rise on the table, and vice verse. You can never rest and stay on guard for new problems to solve. Before you can solve every problem in the right way you might be a couple of games further. That’s also because of misplaced buttons and options. It is a little downfall on the ‘build your paradise’ game that despite of those small problems, shines like a tropical sun on a usually bright day in paradise.

The newest in the Mario & Luigi series is once again an especially fun RPG. It's filled with dry humor and the standard gameplay is originally supplemented with a 2D world that can be influenced by messing with Luigi's face. A great addition to the franchise.

It offers a glimpse in the history of XCOM through a tactical third person shooter, without becoming a simple mindless shooter. The Bureau requires a good amount of tactical thinking, which really makes it feel like a true XCOM game. Lack of strategy, however, might make the game less appealing to some XCOM fans, but the majority of players will revel in the tactical gameplay.

PES is far from perfect, but if the ball starts to roll and two players are competitive to each other, you start to believe in PES again. Konami is pushing this game in the right direction and let us hope that Konami stays on this path. PES stays PES, and FIFA stays FIFA. It’s a certain feeling that should be generated if you play one of the two games. If you’re willing to put some time in this game, you can play for hours with joy.
