I’d love to be better at the game, but that seems unlikely to happen. With that being said, I would still heartily recommend it… provided you keep in mind the frequent dying and need for precision timing etc… if that sort of challenge is up your alley then I think you will find a lot of fun here!- Impulsegamer

Star Wars Outlaws on Nintendo Switch 2 is more than just a great open‑world game, it’s one of the most ambitious Star Wars titles ever to land on a Nintendo system. It’s a labour of love from Massive, built on an understanding that the heart of Star Wars isn’t just in blasters or lightsabers, but in lovable characters, high‑stakes adventures, and worlds that feel worth exploring.- Impulsegamer

Untitled Goose Game is fantastic. The absurd premise is executed to near perfection to deliver a truly unique experience that goes beyond the silly gag of watching a pesky goose cause havoc. The gorgeous, minimalist visuals and the sporadic audio cues combine to create a rich, colourful world that’s just fun to mess around with. Granted, the game is a bit of a cakewalk, but the experience is so utterly delightful and silly that you’ll be more than happy to show it off to friends or play through it all over again in a few months.- Impulsegamer

Two Point Hospital is great, and this Switch 2 port is largely a great way to play it. An option for 60fps would have been nice, as would mouse support, but ultimately, the addictive gameplay of the Two Point series has translated well to the Switch 2, and console-playing fans of the series should seriously consider picking this one up.- Impulsegamer

There are certainly some lovely elements here. The visuals are a nice change from a lot of what is out there. The gameplay swings between simple enough for people new to the genre to get into and arguably quite repetitive (fortunately there is a fast forward option for battles… so you can use your specialty cards then set to max speed until you can use them again). Some of the mechanics are a bit annoying (I hate being able to take a city/town, only to have it in enemy hands at the start of the next story element… if you knew it was going to be in enemy hands at the start of the next story segment… don’t let me take it beforehand). It’s not super expensive so it could be a good option for those wanting to get into strategy gaming… but hardened gamers might find it too simplistic or even frustrating at times.- Impulsegamer

Nintendo have another winner on their hand and if you're looking for a game that will keep you busy for hours upon hours than Mario and Luigi: Dream Team Bros. is that game. The gameplay is quite unique on the 3DS and successfully merges two gaming genres, RPG and Arcade to create this interesting hybrid with a whole lot of fun at the same time. Add in a clever combat system and a variety of whacky super moves and you, Mario and Luigi will be working successfully together to rescue the beautiful Princess Peach.- Impulsegamer

If you were a fan of the previous two seasons and enjoyed playing as Clementine then you may be slightly disappointed as she is not the main playable character, at least not in this episode. But if you are open to a new story, characters and a fresh take to the series then you should give this a go. New players to the series will also enjoy it as long as you are aware that it is more story driven and your choices will not have a huge effect on the outcome of the episode (so far).- Impulsegamer

Overall, there is a heap of value here; once World Tour is complete there is a still heap to do, from challenges to collectibles. This is a more than worthy entry for a series that has long been successful and provides a complete experience that is highly and enjoyable and full of value. There are very few issues with this release and they are generally rare and fairly minor. SSX is worth a look for anyone into extreme sports titles or someone looking for something different to all the other titles that are cut from the same mold.- Impulsegamer

The Switch port of Torchlight 2 is an impressive product overall. The game looks just as good in both portable and docked mode as it does on the PC, with no technical issues in sight. I can’t help but be disappointed with the restrictions on the local multiplayer, however the online play works well if you can find someone to team up with. The procedurally generated nature of the game also suits the design ethos of the Switch and offers exceptional replayability. Fans of ARPG’s won’t need much convincing to pick this one up, but if you’re new to the genre, then this is the perfect time to jump in.- Impulsegamer

Fate/Samurai Remnant adds another engaging title to this vibrant universe that is a very well crafted game from start to finish with strong gaming mechanics and a very engaging combat system. Further it is a living breathing world with quite a bit of attention to detail that makes exploration a treat. The game is also brought together by a very well written story with interesting characters, including real-world twists. The only downside is that it can be a little wordy at times with its visual novel implementation and at times, combat can be become a grind but fortunately the gameplay and universe more than makes up for this. Too many role-playing games are let down by average or mediocre combat – Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen isn’t one of them. I haven’t quite wrapped up my time with Mark of the Deep yet, but as my first playthrough shows signs of coming to a close, I can’t help but feel that this is one the best games of its kind in a while. The genre is overloaded with Hades, Curse of the Gods, and Hollow Knight knock-offs, and it’s difficult for games akin to the Greats to really stand on their own. That’s where Mark of the Deep comes in. It does enough to tick off what I want from a Soulsike-come-Metroidvania(ish) to deserve your attention while still doing its own thing; I just wish one of these fish guys had a map or two on hand.- Impulsegamer

All in all, it’s a let down, but not a failure. It’s gorgeously rendered, and a direct evolution from the first game, but it’s left some of the grit and grime behind. If you are the type to love a city-builder, then you’ll likely love it more than the first, just know that there are some technical difficulties when your build number gets too high (you can drop your graphics settings to offset this). But if you were hoping for some hard choices and tough scenarios, the first game (plus DLCs) is the better choice.- Impulsegamer

Ride 6 is a polished and technically solid entry in the franchise that offers plenty for both dedicated fans and players willing to step outside their comfort zone.- Impulsegamer

Suffice to say, if you love the series you’ve already picked this up anyway, and if you’re on the fence or have spent considerable time away from the franchise, as I had, then rest assured that not only is the entry barrier fairly forgiving for newcomers but the game also offers up enough challenge for veterans and, above all, is immensely fun, and this is coming from someone who doesn’t really get FPS games.- Impulsegamer

Prince of Persia has flashes of greatness. Its production values are absolutely stunning – but the game designers need to take a long hard look at themselves.- Impulsegamer

Sure, there is some grinding involved but once you get your characters to certain levels, things start falling into place, especially with all the items and bonuses the game throws at you, not to mention the customisation options! If you love Japanese RPG games, you really need to check out Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past.- Impulsegamer

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is precisely the kind of game Xbox Game Studios head Matt Booty wants: A smaller game (you can finish it in a weekend easily) that is bound to see the company win more prestige and awards. Like Hi-Fi Rush before it, Senua’s Saga is the kind of incredible narrative-focused single-player exclusive that is bound to be on plenty of award short-lists at the end of the year. It’s a well-written adventure with flawless production values that I’m sure endless thought pieces will be written about (I’ve already thought of a couple) because it actually has something to say.- Impulsegamer

Kena: Bridge of Spirits should take most gamers around 10 to 12 hours to complete, depending on the amount of exploring and the level of difficulty. While the blockbusters games of 2021 continue to deliver the same ho-hum experience of 2021, Kena is a much needed ray of sunshine to the current choices of titles available and more importantly, looks fantastic on the PlayStation 5.- Impulsegamer
