Unfortunately Robinson: The Journey is not the next big thing on the VR scene: despite the premise and the efforts, Crytek was not able to create a convincing blend of a traditional adventure game with a full blown VR experience. In the end, this prehistoric space safari will probably somehow entertain you, without however being as mindblowing and groundbreaking as you might expect. Give it a chance if you dig the idea, but without too many expectations and absolutely not at full price.

Conan Exiles brings you in a violent world, full of background stories and dangerous places, but still feels crippled due to technical flaws, despite the time passed in early access on Steam.

If it wasn't for the bugs and the awful graphical optimization, Homefront: The Revolution certainly would deserve more and it's one of the rare cases in which a sequel is better than the predecessor.

A nice a game, clearly aimed at younger kids and those looking for a "casual" and fun gaming experience with friends.

A bold, brave and interesting attempt to translate the football mechanics in an old school action JRPG. The result is a fascinating, colourful and bizarre mix between Soccer Kid and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past which works in a sweet way until you have to play actual 5-a-side football: on the pitch Soccer Story fails to bring in actual drama and challenge, lowering the fun, the scope and the ambitions of the game.

A decent reintepretation of an arcade classic that shines for the single-player Neo mode. Multiplayer options seem tacky and are not very convincing.

The musical dystopia of No Straight Roads is the way Metronomik uses to face the authoritarianisms as a whole. Themed boss fights and beautiful art style create a potentially explosive recipe, but the monotony of the enemies' attacks and the low quality of the platforming negatively affect the experience.

A honest JRPG with uninteresting plot, overlong battles and a technical achievement with ups and downs.

Saints Row: The Third is still fun play and 8 years later it feels better if enjoyed in short session in handheld mode. The main problem of this release is the lacklustre porting, spoiled by framerate issues, some crashes and poor controls optimization. Anyway, if you feel nostalgic about the Saints irreverence, it's still worth a shot.

Konami Anniversary Collection: Arcade Classics is quite a lazy collection of a bunch of good 80s games. The emulation is quite smooth, most of the games are still fun, but some bizarre games choices, a quite essential look and the lack of peculiar features such as online support make the collection just average.

A very simple and 'old school' platformer: not enough for the champs of the genres, but suitable for a 10-year old who wants to extend the movie experience. Nice looks and animations, too bad for some unforgivable frame rate problems on PS4.

Gravity Rush 2 is bigger and richer than the first chapter and sports the same joyful art direction. Unfortunately it's also as boring and sometimes frustrating as its predecessor.

Surprisingly deep and fun to play, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid lacks content to remain engaging in the long term.

The Last Case of Benedict Fox is undermined by some rather significant flaws in platforming and combat, but the atmosphere is remarkable and the mix of exploration and puzzles makes it an atypical (even if flawed) metroidvania.

Detective Pikachu: The Return only works as a large and varied "Pokémon container," but as a detective adventure it will only be able to give some satisfaction to the youngest players.

Stray Blade attempts to revamp the soulslike formula by focusing on a polished narrative, a close-knit pair of protagonists, a colourful and light game world and a potentially excellent combat-system. Not everything, however, worked as planned.

Let's Sing 2019 features new mechanics and will let you sing many pop songs with your friends or other players online. Although the graphics and the sound is pretty good, we expected a more various playlist, along with the disappointment of the unavailability to catch screenshots.

Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 4 could have been a racing game with some brilliant ideas and a quite fresh career concept, but the overall result is quite opaque. A quite ok motocross game for supercross fan, fun for expert riders while edgy for newcomers, quite improved compared to other entries in the series, but not enough to stand out as a great episode.

The main strength of Risen 3: Titan Lords is the big amount of things to do. Missions of any kind, treasure maps, crafting, factions, exploration of the islands, some naval engagement and more. But for those who have already played Risen 2: Dark Waters the impression of "copy-paste" is really strong and unfortunately its main flaws are still here.

There are some hits and misses, but Splatter – Blood Red Edition goes straight to point. Aside its graphics and it's flawed story, there's a simple, and sometimes addictive, twin stick shooter. It won't be a revolution for the genre, but it's enjoyable.

Conquest of Paradis isn't a bad DLC by any means, it's just a bit light, the new mechanics aren't entirely spot on and the historical plausibility of the colonial era remains debatable.

The Caligula Effect 2 has not too much to offer apart from a good combat system and some interesting artistic vibes. The game is a very classic JRPG technically wise far from the modern standards, which suffers from a quite frayed and monotonous rhythm.

Season: a Letter to the Future is strange. When everything works perfectly and you find yourself in front of one of the stupendous landscapes that make it up, which tell long stories without the need for many words, it is a work of art that leaves you speechless. The freedom given to the player to define the shape of Estelle's adventure and literally bring the season's sunset diary to life is a breath of fresh air, but not strong enough to take flight and the story ends up stopping after a few bars, interrupting a speech suddenly, giving the impression of having left something unfinished.

Devil May Cry HD Collection is quite the same HD Collection we've already seen on PS3 and Xbox 360, with just 1080p instead of 720p (and without any support for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X - you get 4K resolution only on PC). Game menus and many cut-scenes are in SD and 4:3, hard to believe in 2018. But sadly true.

Castle of Illusion is a good platform game, but fails to deliver an organic experience. Some levels are gorgeous, but some other lacks in level design or inspiration, and it's definitely too short for a premium priced game.
