It is indeed a great history lesson on the golden age of the arcades, but a short one, with low replayability.

The game flexes all the muscles with the excellent use of Unreal Engine 5 but is undermined by obsolete tricks to create tension.

Wanted: Dead will make several admirers of old-time action-shooters happy, but it seems like a wasted opportunity and many gamers will find it frustrating and unrefined.

A verbose strategic one, with a farraginosa interface, offering a solid, complex and articulated game structure, but also very "hard" to tame: only for fans.

Metacritic: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is a mediocre fighting game, but a more than recommendable experience for those who don't miss a chance to shout "Hora Hora!" at the top of their lungs.

Too many problems and a lack of interesting ideas make Dangerous Golf a funny little game just for a limited time.

A unique and interesting title, with great atmosphere and nice Oculus Rift support, but kind of lacking in terms of narration and gameplay.

A true "lovecraftian" game short in length and interactivity. The plot is a bit messy to. Just for lovers of the Providence's writer.

Considering the premise and the presentation, I sincerely expected more from Thora's Odyssey: the atmosphere might be there, the overall style might be fascinating and some ideas might be interesting, but that is not enough to truly impress the gods when the core gameplay is a bit lacking and never fully satisfying.

Dolmen surely has its flaws and is nowhere the quality displayed by From Software in its Souls series, but if you enjoy that formula you can still have some fun hacking and slashing through hordes of enemies.

Daymare: 1998 could have been a good survival horror but the flaws surpass the merits. Nonetheless, the team has put some nice efforts into it.

Roller Champions has got great potential, but it lacks of precise route to realize that potential. The core of the game is good and if played with a team of friends delivers ton of fun, while playing with random teams can be a chaotic and frustrating experience. The matchmaking at the moment is awkward and slow and there's no much content apart 3vs3 matches. Roller Champions is a long shot by Ubisoft, and only support and community will tell us if it will be a Rainbow Six Siege kind of story, or a sad Hyper Scape reprise.

Monster Menu: The Scavenger's Cookbook may be a rich snack for fans of the genre, but it may prove indigestible to most at the launch price at which it is offered.

With interesting setting and characters, Close to the Sun starts as a piece of art, but it doesn't keep its premises due to hurried pacing and a bit superficial evolution of the story. Non trivial jumpscares and a good direction make this short game really a missed opportunity and only a decent horror adventure.

Blightbound is a decent multiplayer dungeon crawler, which expresses its full potential only if you have a group of friends to play with.

While attractive in the construction play, the title offers the dynamics a little lazy, which could annoy the majority of players.

Furi is a minimalistic fighting game that requires you to master its combat system, but that's pretty much all. The depth of the gameplay isn't great as you may expect and the poor variety of boss mechanics end in a series of very similar fights that can fail to satisfy your thirst for challenge. The game has vibrant colors and a cool atmosphere, but once again the art and the music are not crazy good and are driven by a poorly written storyline.

Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier won't shake-up the battle royale genre but features enough novelties to gather the curiosity of fans and newcomers. While its current shortcomings might be fixed with time and a proper launch on console and PC, the greed of Square Enix is here to stay and some priced content might turn off even the most faithful fan.

A perfect experience to live with Oculus Rift, but also with a normal PC doesn’t go unnoticed. Too bad the gameplay is weak and quite boring. [Tested with Oculus Rift and standard PC]

The new contents of this Director's Cut version of Strike Suit Zero make the game more complete and a little 'more balanced in the difficulty level, but the structure remains the same as last year, with its own strengths and its many flaws.
