A remaster that only goes a little beyond doing very basic rework, and yet still turns out to be enjoyable, aimed above all at those who appreciated it in 2011 or at those who are particularly curious to discover one of Goichi Suda's old craziness.

A not-so-evolved version of the 3DS game, Miitopia is fine for children but too limited for experienced gamers.

FIFA 19 on Switch is a decent football game, but still a far cry from the PS4, Xbox One and PC editions.

    Hoa
Hoa is a sweet and light story, which systematically avoids complicating things too much to remain an adventure within everyone's reach - missing out on a few opportunities to challenge the players, while managing to maintain a good pace from start to finish.

Deathbound shines with ambition and innovative ideas, but stumbles in execution. Its unique party system and fascinating setting clash with technical issues and weak narrative, with the result of an imperfect but intriguing experience for Soulslike fans.

Dice Legacy is a cute quirky game. The basic mechanics, founded on randomness and dices, are just that, a quirk: the gameplay is, in the end, not that innovative, but the strategical experience is solid and makes for a good, if light on content, city builder-roguelike game.

An interesting "zombie RPG" that could have (and should have) been much better.

An experience that is half convincing: on the one hand the open world mechanics don't work very well, on the other hand the classic levels are a lot of fun.

A new incarnation for an old - but smart - idea built around the two screens setup of Nintendo 3DS. It asks a bit too much in terms of unforgiving mechanics, especially considering that the two screens gameplay is pretty demanding by itself, but if you like a challenge.

Layers of Fear 2 is like a big, strange and greedy DLC of the first chapter. Despite the extreme "more of the same" feeling, in some ways here the expressionist atmosphere is even more disturbing than the painter adventure. On the other hand, however, the story is too fragmented, answers are not sufficiently clear and the game needs more than opening doors and trivial environmental puzzles.

With three heartfelt stories about the meaning of the relationships framed in A Twilight Zone atmosphere, Last Stop is an ambitious interactive comedy-drama which succeeds to deliver its message, even if sometimes at the expense of gameplay experience.

LEGO Horizon Adventures entertains thanks to its ironic mix of Horizon lore, LEGO narrative, and visual style. Technical limitations and repetitiveness penalize it, but in co-op, it definitely becomes more enjoyable.

A very nice depiction of the imaginary war torn reality created by Heinlein. A feisty strategy game that isn't afraid to try new things. It's not perfect, perhaps, but for the price it's a very good package.

Real Racing 3 is the best driving simulator for iPhone, iPad and Android systems, period. The "free to play" model, though, might be too aggressive for some players, but the choice is up to you: play it for free, with patience, and you have a game that can squeeze in your everyday's routine. Or you can just open your wallet and cut some (pretty expensive) corners.

Dead Rising 3 on PC has got higher resolution and more details than the Xbox One version, but also some frame rate issues if you don't have a beast of a PC. It still is a very good third episode for the Capcom series.

If already in the preview the feelings in front of Cygni: All Guns Blazing had been positive, the long-distance review confirms how well the small KeelWorks team did with this spectacular and intense mix of shoot'em-up, bullet-hell and twin-stick-shooter.

An extremely conservative operation. More like a port with extra content than a remaster; a product intended for fans of the saga and fans of the video game's history, but unlikely to appeal to younger gamers.

The comparison with College Football 25 could have been merciless for Madden NFL 25, but EA Orlando came out pretty well. To play it is arguably the best post-pandemic episode. Bringing it up to the level of the college football title requires fewer bugs, new ideas and a willingness to twist a winning formula.
