Potatoma Seeks the Troof is a good game that can be really frustrating. It’s not the platformer of your life, but it’s satisfying to beat.

What a fascinating game. Ruiner truly is something different. It's a pity that sometimes can be too harsh and that all of its side-missions seem just sketched.

To End All Wars is a great old school wargame. It can be intimidating for newcomers, but it's worth a try just for its quality.

Rocket Arena is a fun hero shooter, perfect for quick games with friends. It's not perfect, but it offers some interesting and weird game modes.

Lost Dimension does not disappoint and will appeal to those who prefer the turn-based JRPGs with a strong narrative component. All others may find it a bit too verbose.

A decent game with some nice moments, but it lacks the usual magic touch of the other Lego Games.

Although the awkward performance on PlayStation 5, Beyond a Steel Sky remains a decent third-person graphic adventure that doesn't make big mistakes but that doesn’t even reach particular peaks.

The latest cute experiment from Greg Johnson's Humanature is an interesting trip inside human emotions. It has personality, witty humor and the cross-buy options make it available on every Sony console out there. You'd rather play it with your children or little brother/sister.

Nice environmental puzzles in a short but intense, fun and well-designed VR experience. Motion Sickness? Forget it.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is disappointing in many respects (not merely the visual ones), even if its sci-fi mood, exploration, crafting and multiplayer are all well-done.

The price is too high and and the learning curve is not suitable for everyone, but aside from these two flaws The Climb is simply one of the best VR experiences available today.

A good example of how to craft a Mythos game. Not for the faint of heart. Cool fact: a gamer who knows nothing about the mythos will probably make all the wrong choices in the game.

A third chapter that could have seized the opportunity of the change in direction for a brave, new course, but instead settles for a sufficient rehash of its predecessors.

Deliver Us The Moon arrives on next-gen consoles in a technically improved version, albeit not perfect from an optimization standpoint. KeokeN Interactive's story-driven adventure has retained its charm, with basic gameplay and a good variety of game situations, enjoyable to play despite puzzles that are too simple to solve.

Finally a game in VR which shows that the third person is ideal for virtual reality, even if in the end it’s almost all talk and no action.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts is the most complete, balanced and technically successful episode in the series. Excellence is still missing, but we are really on the right track.

A Musical Story is a warm, interesting and charming small adventure about songwriting and inspiration with, at its core, an essential, but not shallow, rhythm game. It looks and plays as a 70s rock concept album and lingers through solos, emotional spikes and perfect execution. Sometimes is a bit unfair, but well, the road to perfection can be harsh.

A game that lacks sense of direction, with an exposition as bland as its gameplay. On paper, some things could have been interesting but when you actual play the game they feel disconnected.

Chronos: Before the Ashes is a minimalist, imperfect title with a basic spartan aesthetic and a slow pace. Despite this, it is able to give back a vivid sense of discovery and each new ravine or weapon, or power gives us another reason not to detach ourselves from it. The same scenic installation, initially disappointing, fits perfectly with the world hovering between enchantment and technology. A longevity not exactly excellent for the genre and the budget nature that emerges in almost every context of the production, the wings of Gunfire Games, which makes flight worthy of note, but does not go too far.

Persona 5: The Phantom X is an ambitious spin-off that captures much of the original’s charm through a compelling gameplay loop and a promising new cast, all delivered with impressive technical polish for a mobile title. However, the main story feels somewhat uninspired, with villains lacking depth and several scenes that come across as recycled from the original Persona 5. The monetization is a bit too aggressive, with steep pricing that can quickly frustrate players. Despite these shortcomings, the game still offers enjoyable moments, and future updates could help refine its strengths and create a smoother, more rewarding experience.

Double Fine produced a good freemium timer-based sim, but only mitigates the flaws common in its genre. It does not eliminate them. Considering this is a free game, though, and the trademark Double Fine humor, Middle Manager of Justice could have been a little masterpiece of irony and fun.
