A quite original mix between platform, golf and roguelike... very hard but rewarding. A good game which you'll end up to love and hate at the same time.

Dark, violent, visionary. Observer's cyberpunk universe hits hard despite some too long and boring mind trips.

A tribute to the 2D classic, it successfully celebrates the sarcasm and magic of the original, offering a faithful and satisfying challenge to point-and-click veterans.

FIFA 18 is still a spectacular rendition of "the beautiful game", but also a step back in the series.

If the game itself has lost some freshness and relevance compared to today's open-worlds, Nixxes and Gueriilla Games' graphic operation fully hits the mark.

A pure Need for Speed experience for the Z generation, blessed with a fresh style and a great soundtrack. The races are fun, the sense of speed is great, and the progression is real. The only pity is that Lakeshore City is a very lacklustre open world.

Ironcast is a smart and funny game that perfectly fit the Nintendo Switch library. Its roguelike mechanics, otherwise, are a bit dull.

Skulls of the Shogun is a well developed and very fun strategy videogame. Too bad it lacks of a higher degree of challenge and contains some tedious missions, yet it compensates with a slick and elegant gameplay, nice humor and an interesting multiplayer offering.

La-Mulana 2 is exactly the sequel that all fans waited for. Level design and puzzles are really astonishing, but plenty of frustration and general confusion make La-Mulana 2 so difficult to play for the majority of players.

An interesting almost-idle game with a pair of nice twists in a 16 bit dress. If it catches on you it may turn into a huge time-waster.

Azure Striker Gunvolt may just seem a nostalgic homage to the Mega Man games of the past, but speaking the truth it's an action game with a strong personality. Fast, furious and technical, it will be loved by the fans of the genre.

Distant Worlds 2 is a 4X for veterans of the genre, looking for a game to challenge all their management skills. CodeForce crafted a deep, complex strategy game, albeit one that doesn't concede anything to the modern age in terms of graphics and narrative.

A nice deck-building game that capitalizes on the basic ideas seen in Slay the Spire and adds tower-defense to them, creating a unique mix.

After all these years, Luigi's Mansion it would be an even more enjoyable game, if it wasn't for a problematic controller scheme. But still, it's an unforgettable adventure in a funny little world.

Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey is a good, classic JRPG with a simple but entertaining plot and an excellent art direction. Unfortunately, the graphics are quite outdated, but its still a great game and a nice turning point for the series, which both fans and newcomers will certainly enjoy.

The return of Battletoads is a game in many ways surprising and made with extreme care. But the desire to do too much makes him lose his lucidity and ends up watering down an adventure that is too short in itself.

The excellent gunplay and the good RPG features are the best elements that Gearbox has created in this weird-yet-great Borderlands fantasy spin-off. While not flawless, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands can be enjoyed in 20+ hours, even if it can become boring if approached in single-player mode.

Nintendo Switch Sports is a funny game for the whole family. Sports selection could have been wider and bolder, just like Wii Sports Resort, but as a light-hearted party game, it still works fine.

A nice new entry in the classic puzzle game series, with some interesting new ideas but also a not perfectly balanced difficulty level and a couple of missing options that we saw in previous entries.

Gotham Knights is a dense and mostly enthralling action RPG with a competent (if predictable) story and the best Gotham City ever seen in a videogame. From a technical standpoint there are some annoying performance issues, and it doesn't look like the game was really meant to be next-gen, but the gameplay is solid and playing in co-op with a friend it's definitely an experience worth trying.
