With Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers Omega Force has made an enjoyable shift to a turn based strategic formula, even if its gameplay could have been much deeper.

A good tie-in of the original anime series, Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is a solid JRPG, a bit repetitive and with the difficulty not well balanced.

Fear Effect Sedna brings back from the past the core elements of the series, with a nice story that manages to drag the player into it.

NBA Live 18 has the main merit of overcoming the predecessor both in gameplay and controls, but it still lacks something to make it a top level title.

We Are OFK is an intriguing visual novel, which in its best moments knows how to suck the player into the emotional vortex of the story, while following the birth of a group that is virtual, but strangely realistic.

Shenmue is still a niche game, now as it was then. It's the primordial soup of the modern games for gameplay and storytelling, but it still has the charm and magic of yore, delivered with high-level art direction.

Some new social features and a crisper 1080p look enhance this PS4 reincarnation of Dead Nation without changing the original, proven twin-stick shooter formula.

Colorful and fun, Cat Quest is a simple action-RPG with a great heart. And lots of cats.

State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition is a package full of goodies. The game itself is still one of the best steps towards the dream of a persistent apocalyptic world, but poor graphics and the lack of multiplayer are even worse today than two years ago.

A good sequel of the first Overcooked, with more contents and more fun, thanks to the online mode.

Too fast, too furious: Trackmania Turbo is the same old Trackmania, with its hard challenges and some new multiplayer modes. Sometimes it tries too hard to punish the player... and it succeeds!

A good conversion of an already good game. The motion control leaves much to be desired but otherwise the game plays perfectly.

A nice old-school user with low in longevity and high in challenge. Especially good if you play it side by side with a friend. Excellent pixel-art.

A good remake with some extra. A little bit clumsy in some part, but funny and perfect for SpongeBob fans.

Freedom Cry is a good DLC and lets you play as Adewalé, which is an interesting character. Sadly, all of your progress in this DLC is useless for the main game and its huge open wold.

It’s a gift for the fans of the anime – definitively not suited for those who aren’t – with a well crafted combat system: simple but deep mechanics that can reward players who can read correctly their opponent, even if their execution level is not top class.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite offers a very good and funny gameplay, but the game lacks in contents, especially if compared to a lot of other beat'em ups you can play this year.

On the visual side, apart from some minor bugs and the lack of some graphics options that we would have expected, the result has fully convinced us. The Fox Engine is an excellent graphics engine that requires no ultra PC to be enjoyed at its best.

A good remaster of a video game that suffers the weight of its age, superior to the original in every respect, but not free from defects.

More Battleheart than Final Fantasy, Angry Birds Epic is a fun experiment with the usual microtransactions issue. But it's an RPG: grinding is inevitable!

The Sexy Brutale is brilliant and intelligent, with its beautiful art style, its witty puzzles and its captivating story, but it's far from perfect, especially on Xbox One, where it has quite a few problems. It has near-zero replayability, but will keep you intrigued for more than seven hours.

Storyteller takes the concept of "topos" and extends it greatly, basing the entire gameplay on it, and does so competently by teaching the player about the traits of characters and locations, and giving them the freedom to experiment. I would have liked Storyteller to be more daring with experimentation, giving us the opportunity to play more with its extraordinary concept, but even so, it's an interesting divertissement that will make for a very enjoyable evening. Highly recommended.

Escha and Logy are the two halves of a great entry for this series, and a good JRPG overall. Both combat and alchemy system are fun to play and to explore, while we can not say the same about the plot, too boring and slow.

An anomalous metroidvania in the intent as traditional in the realization. The creature's alien and brutal beauty is only partially supported by an equally good world to explore. It remains a fascinating title, made with care, that really lacks that extra flicker to excel.
