While lacking a true single player component (at least for the moment) and with some bugs and glitches still to patch, the new war simulator by Bohemia Interactive will capture hardcore gamers with a massive, vast, complex and layered new episode.

Pokémon Sun and Moon clearly want to change some aspects of a long-standing series. The new features actually bring some of the mechanics up-to-date and, at last, there's a good level of challenge. A deeper plot makes the whole adventure even more enjoyable, too. Unfortunately, there are also some flaws: Alola is definitely too linear and the Pokédex has very few new entries. Overall, the graphics are good, but the frame rate drops dramatically kinda often.

Pragmata is an old-school, linear yet intriguing sci-fi adventure that shines through its dual combat system and, above all, the relationship between Hugh and Diana, which forms the emotional core of the experience. Its combat stands out as one of the game's strongest elements, thanks to the seamless integration of shooting and real-time hacking, keeping tension high and encounters both dynamic and strategic throughout. The artistic direction and presentation are equally convincing, particularly in the first half, but it is the gradual development of Hugh and Diana's bond that truly drives the narrative and gives it emotional weight, even as the story begins to lose coherence later on. Despite some limitations that become more noticeable over time, especially in level design, narrative progression, and a slightly underwhelming overall length, the game remains a solid and enjoyable experience: easy to recommend to fans of linear, character-driven adventures.

High on Life is a game that keeps its promises. Underneath a skin made up of over the top humor there is a biting irony towards a genre (old school FPS’s) which has far too many tropes to make fun of (and here not even one is left behind). The sometimes chaotic level design, combined with not exactly exciting boss fights, risks overshadowing the merits of the Squanch Games game, but a good sum of game mechanics manages to keep everything afloat, waiting for the next joke and the resulting laugh.

An intriguing multi-choice adventure, Erica does almost nothing new but offers an interesting story and great replayability.

It has a short campaign and a steep price, but this homeworld-in-the-desert has style in spades, and a solid, albeit simple, RTS core.

The First Samurai is the worthy conclusion of a long journey, which reunites (without too many surprises) the beginning with the end in this epic narrative of a cycle of events that seems destined to repeat itself forever. Team Ninja recycles the formula of the first Nioh to bring to the most insatiable players an end-game able to entertain them for some time, without shining for inventiveness, but aiming for a pleasant more of the same.

Thronebreaker is an interesting spin-off, with a clever puzzle design and an interesting atmosphere. But its story could have been so much better.

A great action RPG, challenging, stimulating and full of passion. It has room for improvement, but if this is just the beginning we will see some great things.

If you like to explore a randomly generated world, mine and harvest everything your eyes can see and build any type of weird structures, Terraria is the right game for you. If you loved the PC version you will love the iOS version too, despite the lack of multiplayer and the size of the map.

In some ways, Immortals of Aveum can be seen as a wasted opportunity to give shooter fans a memorable experience with an outstanding graphics. Instead, Ascendant Studios' debut game turned out to be just a good first-person shooter that entertains without being boring, thanks to a surprising RPG component and gameplay that excellently does its job of entertaining players. In addition to a decent story and a not particularly long campaign, Immortals of Aveum also has to contend with a less-than-stable frame-rate and other flaws that do not allow it to be one of the best shooters of the last years.
