With a massive music catalogue, Curtain Call is something like a dream come true for real Final Fantasy lovers. But if you played the original game, Curtain Call is little more than a deluxe edition.

Metrico is a great puzzle/platform, probably the best puzzle/platform title released this year on PS Vita. If you love the info graphic style, this game is for you.

Heavy Rain is an absolute classic of its unique genre of videogames. The story of the origami killer can still charm with its blend of mystery and noir ingredients and the remastered graphics are a plus to enjoy it. Unfortunately, the gameplay mechanics feel a little old, but this alone doesn't really kill the experience as a whole.

Statik is a nice surprise for puzzle-game lovers. A 5.5 hour long jigsaw puzzle immersed in an essential but fun genre VR.

WRC 4 is a bit more "pretty" and appealing than WRC 3. The new handling system is great, has been further refined, made even more exciting (finally, different surfaces returns different grip), with lots of fine tuning control on the steering wheel. That said, the new rally Milestone is not yet a true prodigy of beauty.

While not perfect, this remake manages to make a 1995 classic fit for modern standards. Respecting its past, Trials of Mana is a fun and highly replayable action JRPG.

Aftermath is not a huge expansion, but every bit of content that comes with it is fitting perfectly with what the base game already had to offer.

A very good looking and fun, if not very long, puzzle game.

The Evil Within 2 is definitely one step ahead of its predecessor: a rich, deep and long-lived horror survival. The level of difficulty has been considerably softened. If this makes the title more accessible, on the other hand, it denies that authoritative uniqueness of the title that inspired it.

Does it make sense to spend 20 € to play Resident Evil 4 in 2014? Who already knows everything about this 2005 classic made in Capcom maybe is gonna wait for a better offer on Steam. For all the others this PC port is mandatory and even if the game has some bitterness here and there, it remains one of the best Shinji Mikami's creations, as well as a true masterpiece.

A very well made game dedicated to the Great War. It could have more diplomatic options and the price is maybe a bit too high, but it definitely deserves your attention.

This Champion Edition is a cheap way to get back into Street Fighter V (when compared to the DLC packs of Tekken 7 or Dragon Ball FighterZ), but doesn’t add much to its original formula.

Meditate is harder than you expect if you try to do that on a roof or a volcano, but if you are a Shaolin monk, well it will be just cool. The Balance of Shaolin is just that: a simple and challenging game with a Shaolin Monk. And a Volcano.

All the highs and lows of the series are still there, for a final chapter that doesn't disappoint and introduces a couple of very nice new ideas. Puzzles are strong, narration is a bit cheesy, but generally speaking Cognition is worth playing.

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin is a delightful game, a small production that exudes care from all pores and manages to instill a relaxing sense of calm in the player. The narration, which draws on classic Japanese folklore, has those simple but winning characteristics typical of the training story. A pure, cheerful and touching fairy tale, capable of holding on to the screen until the (splendid!) conclusion. Unfortunately, some naivety in mission management makes the second half of the game a bit redundant. It would have been perfect to "dry" the continuous backtracking, enriching the central part with some unprecedented fighting. However, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin can be loved, with well implemented game elements and wonderful art direction.

A fun - if unoriginal - fantasy hack'n slash game both good for a single player experience and a multiplayer adventure- The free to play elements feel fair and the end game content is hard enough to pose as an interesting challenge.

Pokémon Sun and Moon clearly want to change some aspects of a long-standing series. The new features actually bring some of the mechanics up-to-date and, at last, there's a good level of challenge. A deeper plot makes the whole adventure even more enjoyable, too. Unfortunately, there are also some flaws: Alola is definitely too linear and the Pokédex has very few new entries. Overall, the graphics are good, but the frame rate drops dramatically kinda often.

A good remaster for the two LEGO Harry Potter games: the games' structure is a little outdated, if compared to the most recent LEGO games, but going back to Hogwarts is always a pleasure.
