Luna: The Shadow Dust is a lovely fable dressed up as a classic point and click adventure. The art direction, the visual style and the soundtrack are simply beautiful, while the gameplay mechanics convey in a solid way the path to the consciousness of the main character. The puzzles are gentle and interesting, but sometimes the game plays it too safely and it feels a little bit too light. Anyway, Luna: The Shadow Dust lets the players live a handful of heartwarming hours.

Yes, Your Grace is a brilliant mix of a "choices and consequences" game and medieval storytelling. It's a small game with a huge heart and it's a joy to play. The crown of Davern is heavy and you can feel the meaning of every choice, even if the structure of the game may be a little bit repetitive. Above all, anyway, Yes, Your Grace is crafted with love, and the sight and the sounds of Grevno Castle will last long in the hearts of the players.

Snack World: Dungeon Explorers is a game made with undoubted craft, full of humor and ready to pinch the strings of the collector hidden in each of us. The simple but not trivial action and the large number of secondary missions are, however, tormented by a rhythm that tends to weary in the long run and a lively, but technically only discreet, technical component. Remaining in the culinary sphere, Snake World won't be a chef's bite to eat, but if you're hungry you can tastefully fulfill it.

If you loved NES Remix, you will also appreciate Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition, which, in addition to several new challenges, offers a small essay on game design. Otherwise, the package is a bit pricey (€29.99, to which you have to add the cost of a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to enjoy all the features), and not all “remixed games” have aged well in the same way.

I grew up with Halo, so despite the bad presentation of 2020, I still had hopes that Halo Infinite would be a big comeback for the series, but in all fairness I can't say that it is. Let's be clear: it is a solid and fun game in its fundamental mechanics, also capable of inserting novelties that work (from the open world to the grappleshot) and that I would like to see carried out. At the same time it pays the price of a troubled development, probably a result of the uncertainty with which 343 Industries is handling the series from Halo 4 onwards. A well-defined gameplay, and embellished with some changes that refine the formula a little, is used to carry on a story with a few memorable moments and that still has everything to prove.

Despite the not-so-popular price and the game mechanics of their time, the Famicom Detective Club series is an interesting work and a video game restoration operation that could open the door to other similar episodes. Rebuilt from scratch, with beautiful two-dimensional graphics and enriched by the dubbing of all dialogues, the two games retain intact their charm and are proposed to new generations in a truly sumptuous. The genre of belonging, however, is to be taken into account, since the developers have done very little to modernize the playability of the work, which is - in the long run - slightly cumbersome. Although the interactivity is not comparable to the most modern investigative games, Famicom Detective Club has an undeniable vintage charm.
