Still the best rally game out there, with some impressive content and excellent dualsense compatibility on PS5. The career mode is simple but efficient and the 50th anniversary content is great for veteran players looking for some difficulty aimed at the long term fans of the license. Let's hope for some new gen engine for the next entry.

The strengths of No More Heroes 3 that are its crazy universe and its pleasurable fights manage to eclipse its faults, especially technical ones. One can only note the good will and the immense work of Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture to refine the recipe of their cult series. Never has the production of a No More Heroes been so neat, the fights so technical and the rhythm so well mastered. The copy is not without some erasures, however. We think of the open world so little alive and some bosses who deserved better treatment. Anyway, No More Heroes 3 is a very good title that will delight fans and perhaps allow others to take a first step into the garden of madness.

A nice take on the 4X Civ-like kind of strategy from Amplitude, already experienced in the genre. But it feels too safe, to cautious, and it reminds of the first Endless Space, and huge gap crossed by Endless Space 2. We can only wish for Humankind 2 then, but the first game still is a great game for newcomer or Civ veteran looking for some fresh mechanics.

Even if Cris Tales has an enchanting graphic style, a nice fighting system and a more than appreciable OST, the title suffers from its technical side. The World Ends With You is back with its impeccable style and unique atmosphere, with a long awaited sequel. The combats are exceptionally punchy, the characters are interesting and endearing, and the music is unforgettable. The story succeeds at onboarding newcomers as well as answering a lot of questions fans of the first game had for years. NEO remains, however, like its predecessor, a very linear adventure, with pacing issues and gameplay that can become tedious.

The return of Alex Kidd is pretty good, but will not be unanimous among the players. Graphically, the studio offers us a very beautiful game with detailed environments and high quality cartoon characters, all enhanced by effects of light and volumetric smoke. What can scare off more than one is its punitive side: you have little life, and even if the defeat does not send you back to the start of the entire game like its predecessor, it is frustrating to have to restart the current level at because of a simple skip error. The game is clearly intended for die-hard fans of the series or for the curious who did not have the chance to play it on Master System under the initial conditions. However, if you are not afraid of learning the levels by heart, I can only recommend it, at least to enjoy its visual aspect.

From the outstanding sound design, to the announcers or the MLB Network coverage, everything makes you feel that you’re in a ballpark or watching a real MLB game on TV. The setting of the game is beautiful and makes us want to contemplate the universe of Oddworld. The cinematics are also outstanding and the game is very generous in terms of content. The gameplay first seems more modern and nervous, yet the overall experience is as frustrating as frustration can get. The crafting elements combined with the 1st-time only activated check point force us to loot lockers and dumpsters as we die (so again and again and again).
