In the end, it all boils down to the pacing. The story moves at glacial pace, and the interactive moments are too few and far between. The unfortunate result is that playing Icebound feels like watching snow melt.- Hooked Gamers

Depths of Fear: Knossos holds very few redeeming qualities, however I will give it some credit for the premise. Playing as Theseus and fighting your way through dungeons filled with mythical creatures sounds great. It’s just not here. Also, Daedalus repeatedly made me laugh, which I’m sure wasn’t the intention, but we all need a good chuckle now and then.- Hooked Gamers

I was also impressed to see a game made on RPG Maker VX Ace that was so enjoyable - often the products of the RPG Maker series serve as a way for a creative mind to explore ideas, rather than making it to a level where it can actually capture an audience.- Hooked Gamers

As a joke, Goat Simulator excels in every single way. As a game, it lacks the content that would have turned it into something more. Windforge sounded like an intriguing game when I first heard about it. An explorable game with a system similar to Terraria, but in the sky? Sounds fun! In reality, you are treated with a game that is its own worst enemy, preventing you from enjoying it through numerous technical issues and strange design choices. Which is a shame. What really kill this game are the bugs. There are graphical bugs. There are puzzle bugs. There are bugs that crash the entire game, forcing you to close the program and start it up again. This is especially frustrating because the game relies exclusively on auto-saving, and only saves each time you complete a room. You can lose entire chunks of progress from these crashes.- Hooked Gamers

I don’t blame myself too much for that, as the game’s presentation at that stage is kind of bland and uninviting and especially its God-awful music needed switching off immediately. Agarest: Generations of War has an interesting central concept that never manages to create anything special with the tools it has available. While the dating sim portions of the game do succeed, even if they are overly awkward, the slow pace of the storyline combined with a lack of clear innovation does more harm than good. Legend of Dungeon has plenty of charm, and some good ideas, but lacks in execution. There is plenty of variety in the equipment that you find and the enemies you will face, but it is never enough to engage you for any great length of time.
