Night in the Woods tells a sad story in many levels. We love the art direction and the soundtrack (specially in minigames and dream levels), but it is not a game for everyone. Gameplay falls short compared to narrative elements.

Life is Strange is a personal, beautiful and captivating adventure game that builds on the foundation of the friendship between two girls who seek their place in the world. A risky and very emotional game.

Shredder´s Revenge is the game every ninja turtles fan dream of. Tribute Games deliver an incredibly fun brawler, based on the classic arcade, and full of improvements in characters, level design and great pixel art. It made us feel as we were kids again.

On top of being a great game, with satisfying shooting mechanics and a universe that goes well beyond the main story, the next-gen version of Control Ultimate Edition is a visual showcase. It's a shame that early adopters of the original game can't benefit from this upgrade.

Konami hasn't taken too many risks with Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, a very conservative reworking of the PS2 classic. But they've managed to enhance the original game's strengths, as its gameplay, setting, story, and characters still have the same impact in 2025 as they did 20 years ago.

Miles Morales works great as a launch title for PS5, it keeps most virtues from the previous game, and adds "next gen" effects, but it´s not as big and ambitious as the original.

Origins can pretty much be considered one of the best entries in the series (if not the best) for introducing a myriad of changes, all for the best, and making the series advance in the same way Assassin's Creed II did back in the day. Put it into a sarcophagus next to the pharaohs, because this game is worth of the Valley of the Kings.

Batman Arkham Shadow brings the gameplay of Batman's previous adventures to virtual reality, and does so masterfully, culminating in a new story in which combat, investigation and stealth feel like never before in the series. Now you are Batman, and all you'll need is Bruce Wayne's money to believe it.

Pragmata has a clear vision and appeals to those interested in the more emotional touch of its narrative and its unique and entertaining hacking-based shootouts. It doesn't try to be something it's not. Pragmata won't be revolutionary, but it's definitely one of those games that doesn't disappoint.

The best "Zelda" that isn't coming from Nintendo, an unique adventure both in visuals and presentation that puts on the table smart and intelligent ideas. A game that any adventure fan looking for a new challenge should play on Xbox or PC. As simple as that, go and play it. You won't be disappointed.

PES 2017 is a great football game, but it is very conservative. Gameplay is amazing, like having a great goal scorer in your team, but its lack of signings for the modes or the technical side are too obvious. It’s very similar to the game we saw last year.

There is no doubt that Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA is one of the best deliveries of the saga. Despite its small flaws and shortcomings as not being translated into Spanish, it's an ARPG with a scent of Kingdom Hearts and one of the best games of the genre to date.

The extreme difficulty and many similarities with he first game will be like a huge nurikabe for a lot of people, but if you're patient and skilled enough to learn the ways of bushido, you'll find out that Nioh 2 is a great game where the good parts shines brighter than the bad.

Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak elevates the possibilities of the base game with an expansion packed with content and improvements that further sharpen the refreshing gameplay we already knew. Despite the fact that there could be more monsters and it lacks the grandiloquence of Iceborne, this expansion is a must buy for any hunter.

Two Point Hospital is what lots of players have been waiting: a new Theme Hospital. Maybe it's very similar to Bullfrog's game, and doesn't stray far from that formula... but at the same time, that's one of its strongest points: it's like traveling back 20 years, with some new additions. A very funny game, that newcomers can find difficult.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 is a great adventure, full of details, minigames and wonderful characters, and it gets a new Goro Majima campaign for this PS4 remaster. Combat system is not as deep as in the first Kiwami, but still, it is one of the best entries in the franchise.

Despite the ill-advisedness of some changes, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 is an entertaining game, which successfully updates the graphics and gameplay details, although it leaves the aftertaste that “more” could have been done, especially with the soundtrack, the original THPS4 campaign and the multiplayer.
