With Lumines Arise, Enhance has once again successfully updated a classic puzzle game, as they did with Tetris, transforming it into a true audiovisual spectacle, and incredibly immersive if you play in virtual reality. Sound, graphics... everything comes together to create an electronic symphony that's hard to resist if you're a puzzle fan.

Sonic Mania was the perfect homage to the classic hedgehog games. Plus version adds two new characters, 4 player coop split screen, new game modes and a great physical edition, so it gets even better.

NBA 2K16 is the best sports game of the year without any doubt. Visual Concepts shows everyone how to innovate in a genre where it's quite easy to get lazy. The ring belongs to it, my precious.

Total War Warhammer II is a step forward for the saga, with a bigger and more exciting campaign, and new game mechanics that bring a greater depth to each and every adventure. Creative Assembly has managed to exceed something that seemed unbeatable.

Tales of Arise is a high-quality JRPG and the next technical leap in a series that continues to take steps in the right direction on the occasion of its 25th anniversary. The playable renewal that it proposes places it as one of the most powerful titles of the year and as an excellent entry for players looking to get started in the franchise.

Hi-Fi Rush mixes the intensity and complexity of a hack'n slash with the high demanding precision of a rhythm game. The result is a fresh and vibrant experience where every combat encounter is a rush of adrenaline.

One of Capcom's best collections. It's a great package, including some of the best fighting games in history.

Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered it's a wonderful open world adventure and this port doesn't change that. What it changes is that you'll need a powerful PC to run it properly, with ray-tracing and all the visual effects... and even with an RTX 3080 you won't run it at constant 4K y 60fps at launch.

One of the breeziest, funniest platforming games that we remember in a long time. If you love frantic heroes and explosive jumps, go for it.

If it was already a special game on Wii U, now, thanks to all the changes, new features, and—above all—the epilogue, Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is also one of the best JRPGs on Nintendo Switch. An adventure as colossal as a giant robot and as unforgettable as an alien planet you don't want to leave.

Bethesda brings us one of the best games of 2015. It will be the game of the year for many people, for sure. It offers an incredible amount of game options, length, fun and gameplay possibilities but, most of all, it offers a "real" world to live in for the coming months.

Uncharted trilogy still feels like great adventure games, and looks amazing in 1080p, but we miss multiplayer and the Drake´s Fortune level design seems outdated compared with the other two games. Regardless, gameplay and storytelling are perfectly balanced.

Diablo 4 is the triumphant return of the saga. The game manages to bring back the dark style of Diablo II while boasting a good narrative, gameplay as addictive as ever, and interesting new features. It only remains to be seen how Blizzard will maintain the game, but we can say that the hour eater has returned in style.

Street Fighter 6 is the first great fighting game on Switch 2, which it's almost on par with other versions: very colorful and fluid graphics, even with cuts in detail, but it offers an equally fun experience, online included. Too bad that details such as the 30 fps in World Tour, prevent it from shining more.

Tactics Ogre Reborn is by its own merits one of the great SRPGs that we can now enjoy in the best way thanks to its new gameplay and graphics. However, we miss a greater courage on the part of Square Enix with this revision of the 2010 remake. If you already played it years ago, there are no great incentives to repeat.

Death Stranding is one of those special games that comes out from time to time. Hideo Kojima shows that he's a great storyteller, but he also knows how to create a solid and attractive gameplay. It may not appeal to everyone, but it's certainly one of those games that have to play once in your life.

A fun and explosive action game that it's even more spectacular on PC (and that you can play reasonably well on Steam Deck and ROG ALLY). With it, Nixxes saves the day and delivers a third quality port in a row, which looks spectacular with the latest GPUs, although it still needs a few patches to be polished and perfected.

Bloober needed to keep and adapt everything that made the 2001 game great: its atmosphere, characters, story... They've done all that and added their own ingredients to present us with a complete, emotional and exciting experience. It's not technically perfect, but Silent Hill 2 has everything it needs to stand out in the fog.
