As is often the case the Switch version adds nothing to the experience, but the graphical style and lightning pace suit the handheld screen way better than they suit a full-sized TV. The Switch, as a result, feels like the natural home for Katana ZERO, which slots perfectly into the existing catalogue.- God is a Geek

As for content, sadly both this version and Resident Evil 0 along with it have arrived onto Switch with no new console specific content. For example, this version doesn’t make use of the motion control functionality that the Switch can provide which means that this version is simply a straight port of the previous remastered versions, and as such my biggest issue is the pricing. My opinion will always be that Resident Evil is absolutely worth playing, however unless the issue of portability is your main driver for choosing this version then you are perhaps better served playing it on another platform.- God is a Geek

With the inclusion of F2 and an even more comprehensive career mode, F1 2019 is the biggest game in the series to date and quite possibly the best.- God is a Geek

Everybody's Golf VR offers the same gentle style of golf that the previous entry had, and the golf feels pretty realistic. Unfortunately, there's a lack of modes and limited variety of courses that bring the overall experience down.- God is a Geek

Trover Saves the Universe is a very funny adventure game that doesn't offer the same brand of gameplay as Astro Bot Rescue Mission, but Justin Roiland's humour makes it much more appealing.- God is a Geek

While Home Sweet Home doesn't bring anything new to the table for first person horror puzzlers, it does stand out with the inclusion of Thai horror folklore which is truly terrifying. It's let down with a couple of bugs but it's not a bad way to spend a few hours.- God is a Geek

In its current state, the Switch version has no touch screen support. This is very disappointing given the platform and its various input options are perfectly suited to games in this genre. Thimbleweed Park is the best example of how to handle bringing the genre to Switch. The Switch version of Deponia also has some inconsistency with A and B for selecting. Usually, games that see late ports to Switch and cost more have a few added extras. Over here, you aren’t getting anything extra barring the asking price.- God is a Geek

The Switch version of Team Sonic Racing is still a good game. It still has an interesting mechanic, addictive (but microtransaction-free) loot boxes that can make you change up the cars you race in. The story is nonsense, but the racing is fun, but it’s just such a strange game to put out when you consider the competition. Regardless, this is an alright version of a good game.- God is a Geek

This is a port only really worth picking up if you missed it the first time, but even then the iffy controls (sprint is the left bumper and the menu wheel is on A, for some reason best known only to Hell’s most prolific torturers) and shocking performance issues will leave you wondering what all the fuss was about. 8 years after its original release t’s still irreverent fun, though certainly hampered by iffy shooting and iffier driving, but Saints Row has always been one of those series that kind of gets a free pass because it’s so endearingly nuts.- God is a Geek
