    Cricket 19 has enhanced beyond Ashes Cricket, Big Ant Studios previous outing and then the best cricket video game around. Enhancements to AI have further improved this, though doesn't completely perfect the game with a few issues here and there. Altogether though, this is still a very strong and polished game and one that any fan of cricket should be interested in.

    If you['re] bored by cricket you’ll likely be bored with this game too. However for the fans, there is now a really good cricket game to enjoy, one that’s packed with gameplay, customisation, and a real love for the real game.

    Cricket 19 is by far the best cricket game available right now. There’s enough about it to keep cricket newbies entertained while its high level of authenticity will no doubt delight die-hard cricket fans. Even England’s Barmy Army, however, would get quickly tired of the loading times, and may notice the small imperfections to the matchday experiences. Despite this, Cricket 19 is a solid boundary, with the career mode hitting nothing but sixes.

    Cricket 19 won’t be winning any awards nor pioneering new things, but it is a fun game to pick up and play. It’s simple, intuitive and makes cricket accessible to just about anyone.

    Cricket 19 is a comprehensive and detailed simulation of the sport with a bewildering number of modes and options. Its depths and complexities can be daunting for newcomers, and playing against the AI feels a bit arbitrary at times, but from playing Ashes Test series to one off challenges, there is something here for every level of cricket fan.

    Especially commendable are Cricket 19’s best-in-show customisation options. While only England, Australia, and Australian domestic sides are licensed, all non-licensed sides – and there are loads – can be immediately overwritten with fan-created versions. Giving you ‘real’ names and kits for the exotic likes of Barbados Tridents, and Sunrisers Hyderabad, and, uh, Denmark. Oh to have such touch-of-a-button editing functionality in PES. [Issue#164, p.89]

    Someone wanted to make cricket fans dream come true and bigant created this one. Any cricket fan, this is best cricket game available right now.

    This game is an improvement from the Don Bradman series. I love the direction that Big Ant is taking this game. Some improvements in fielding needed like dives. The career mode is far better than the career mode from Don Bradman 17. The custom creations are a treat. You could spend a good chunk of time just creating players, teams, stadiums, bats. The community behind this game is also fantastic.… Expand

    This is s great step forward for this series. Huge fan of the customisation, particularly on gameplay/difficulty sliders. A couple more tweaksThis is s great step forward for this series.     -more licences for players and teams
    - more realistic fielding and batting animations (sometimes players slide across the ground instead of moving their feet)
    -more accurate player models

Other than, I’ve only batted for a few balls, can’t say much more but it has promise. Oh and the frame rate is a real dog.… Expand

    Alright the game play is great it just feels better when playing the game. But it still needs lots of polish the frame rate dips when batting at night on a PS 4 not pro. Sometimes the game simulates when u are batting very rarely but it does happen enough to notice. Every pitch uptill now in my career has only one type of setting that is soft and overcast, we have to change every time before we start the matches not to feel repetitive. Can't say this is a bug or not but have played season 1 with batting avg of 100 still in selection screen it says no chance will play a bit more n comment. May be after few patches will give it 7 but for now it is a low 5… Expand
