If you're not looking for anything particularly original, American Fugitive is a decent adventure with enough good ideas and atmosphere to keep you interested.- God is a Geek

Sniper Elite V2 is not the worst Sniper Elite game (the first one is) but it’s also nowhere near as good as the actually impressive 3, 4, or Nazi Zombies, all of which I’m sure would play just fine on the Switch. There is certainly enjoyment to be had here, particularly if you go in dragging your expectations on a limp length of twine behind you, but otherwise you’re better off just playing the later games wherever you can.- God is a Geek

If you’ve been craving a first person dungeon crawler on the Switch, Coven is definitely a much better game but if you already played that, this is worth looking into if you’re after fan service.- God is a Geek

With the enhancements and ability to play anywhere, The Zodiac Age on the Switch is everything I wanted from a portable release. It was obviously not feasible to have this on Vita but I’m glad Square Enix put this on a portable because the gameplay perfectly suits portable play and it is the full game with even more features than the PC version that was already a step above the PS4 version. I know its unlikely but the only thing I’d want more from this version is the ability to sync my save with Xbox One since I have that version as well.- God is a Geek

Team Sonic Racing isn't the best karting game out there. But its well-executed team mechanic changes the way you play, making it a worthy addition to the genre.- God is a Geek

Despite a seemingly unnecessary level of challenge, Darkwood is genuinely one of the scariest games out there, featuring some of the best sound design in the survival horror genre.- God is a Geek

Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World is an interesting take on the Atelier franchise but one that lacks most of what makes the series fun in the first place.- God is a Geek

There’s a lot to like about this game really, from its chibi versions of real cars (although unlicenced, so they have names like Fauxrari) to its great track design and abundance of event types, but a game like this is always going to struggle on a Nintendo console. Especially when so much of its content is locked behind awkward progression in races that can be ruined by annoyingly aggressive AI. It’s difficult to recommend when most Nintendo Switch owners already have Mario Kart and Crash Team Racing makes its return in less than two months, but its lower price point may entice a few people into buying.- God is a Geek

The only real flaw with this port is the menus are confusing. If you’ve never played Cytus before, you might struggle to figure out how to quickly get into a song but you will get used to it. It is chock full of great music and a damn fine rhythm game on the Switch. If you skipped the mobile release a while ago, there has never been a better time to get into Cytus than now with Cytus Alpha. It even has a gorgeous icon.- God is a Geek

The Princess Guide is definitely one of the weaker NIS developed releases I’ve played. If the port was great things would have been a bit better but as it stands, the Switch version of The Princess Guide is good but not an essential from any angle right now. If you adored Penny Punching Princess and want something similar with some simulation aspects, you will enjoy this a lot but for everyone else, there are better NIS games to play on both PS4 and Switch.- God is a Geek

Marble It Up is something I never really knew I wanted until I played it. It takes such a simple concept and executes it brilliantly. If you’ve never played the marble rolling platformers of the past, this is a great place to jump in. The only downside right now is that you can probably finish this in a few hours. I hope more levels are added in the future.- God is a Geek

I’d even go so far as to say that it feels like the definitive version. It doesn’t add anything to the base game besides the expansions and DLC elements that were already there on other consoles, but it’s still worth picking up if you’ve never hunted a Cockatrice in Gransys before.- God is a Geek

Mortal Kombat 11 feels amazing to play, with plenty of depth and individuality in each fight. The Krypt's randomness of unlocking gear is annoying, and some Towers of Time challenges are unnecessarily difficult, but this is still a must have for fighter enthusiasts.- God is a Geek
