Greedfall is held back by performance issues and a tendency to fill its space with tedious padding, but it’s saved by fun combat and an intriguing story.

The Creature in the Well is a harsh mistress, but one that’s incredibly rewarding to those who push on.

The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors is a surprisingly dense beat-em-up that is lots of fun to play, and the old school aesthetic does it wonders.

Mixing puzzles, stealth and even mild horror elements, FRACTER is a short, sweet adventure that’s just fun to play.

Agent A is more Johnny English than James Bond but there’s no harm in having a little fun as a spy.

Decay of Logos has an interesting story of a quest for revenge with some interesting supporting characters but is massively let down with the various amount of bugs that hampers progress and can cause major amounts of frustration.

Iceborne is one of the very best examples of how to produce paid content for a AAA game. It fixes almost all of World's issues, and adds so much to the package. It doesn't feel like an expansion; it feels like a sequel. A fantastic experience.

If you didn’t think you needed another Gears of War, you were wrong. Gears 5 is a barnstorming success, and a triumphant return for the series. This is the essential first party game the Xbox One desperately needed.

This is a great way to experience on of the best games ever. I really wish they had added the touchscreen functionality from the iOS version as an option to make this the definitive version of the game. If you don’t care about touchscreen controls, the Switch version is amazing and absolutely worth getting if you’ve never played this game before.

For a free-to-play MMO, DC Universe Online is more than worth getting, and depending on how much you enjoy your time with it, you may consider sinking some cash into it. Getting to interact with all the superheroes and villains within the DC Universe was right up my street, and spending my cash to buy new upgrades and gear, as well as a sidekick that followed me around Gotham, made the time I had with DC Universe Online worth it.

Rather disappointing on the Switch. Visually it’s a pretty game, but detail does feel sharper whilst in handheld. It’s still lovely to look at whilst you’re playing docked, but it’s not as crisp. If it wasn’t for the problems with the control’s response time, I could easily play through the games again, however, if you’re only interested in playing for the portability factor, it’s still decent enough to take with you on your travels.

Torchlight II is a superb addition to your library and an absolute blast alone or with friends.

Making small improvements over previous games not only adds up to WRC 8 being the best in the series, it’s also one of the best rally games around.

Headspun's mix of management sim and FMV narrative is fairly unique. However, repetition and buggy gameplay mar the game's potential.

Blair Witch nails the feeling of the original movie, producing the same paranoia and terror as many felt in the cinemas back in 1999. An essential experience for any horror fan.

A fantastic puzzle game hides underneath an interesting, engaging story. There’s plenty here to warrant another look, and if you skipped it before, don’t pass it over this time.

An inventive take on the Metroidvania formula, but is let down by some awkward platforming and combat.

Erica is by far the best game to feature in the PlayLink category, but some of the ideas are unnecessary. The acting is great, but the story never really picks up until the final third of the game.

Man of Medan builds on the solid foundation of Until Dawn. The decisions you make actively alter your experience, meaning you'll want to replay it over and over.

The core gameplay is almost as good as it was on PC and deserves to be played, but a few issues hold it back a little.

A brilliant game that’s deep and offers accessibility for people who struggle as well as people who want to master every inch of the combat. In a crowded marketplace, Astral Chain stands out as a unique, interesting game that you’d be foolish to pass up on.

Despite some iffy performance issues and some very frustrating narrative choices, Control's compelling gameplay, excellent combat and dedication to the bizarre make it an easy game to recommend.

Hotline Miami is still a classic I can recommend to most people. It is disappointing that you are forced to buy it with the sequel that isn’t as good but this is a price I was willing to pay to have one of my favourite games on the Switch. If you enjoyed the sequel as well on PC or PlayStation before, this collection is an essential for your Switch.

Overall, Superhot on Nintendo Switch is a great way to experience one of the better and more unique games of recent years. If you’ve already played it before, it isn’t worth buying again but newcomers should absolutely consider this version as an option to play Superhot. It even has a nice icon and I know that matters to many people for Nintendo Switch games.

If you’re after a snooker game for Switch then this is your only option, but it is at least a good one.

If you’ve already got it on other platforms, I wouldn’t recommend trying it on the Switch.

I won’t tell any lies here, Telling Lies is another excellent piece of narrative game design from Sam Barlow and I sincerely hope there’s more to come.

A brave choice at something different by Tokyo RPG Factory finds a game that’s good but crying out for new ideas.
