Minecraft Dungeons has heaps of potential, and in a year’s time it may be a very different beast. But right now I can’t shake the notion that this is a squandered opportunity.

Days Gone has some moments of brilliance, but there're far too may bugs. The hordes improve the game drastically, it's just a shame that a lot of the game suffers in other avenues.

The Sims 4 is a compelling game with tonnes of customisable options. Sadly, poor attention to the functionality of playing with a controller rather than keyboard and mouse, and a sparse tutorial make this version difficult to overly recommend.

Although there isn't a lot to it, its chaotic neon visuals and sense of introspection make it a worthwhile experience.

Aer is a pretty game, but ultimately there's little to do and not much to compel you on.

Wife Quest is a fun action platformer with great power ups and intense boss fights, but its obsession with breasts is its undoing.

Having played a good amount of both games, even with the frame rate being half, I’d recommend the Switch version over the PS4 version for Gal*Gun 2.

For some, Flood of Light will be a relaxing, thought-provoking puzzler perfect for a rainy day. For others its slow pace, frustrating collectibles and difficulty will mean reaching for another title instead.
