Frustrating platform elements and rote missions prevent Starlink from being as good as its promise deserves.- God is a Geek

Sweet, blood-soaked, unashamedly offensive catharsis - Carmageddon: Max Damage has all of the above in spades.- God is a Geek

An interesting enough take on the genre that's let down by boring looks and frustrating little niggles.- God is a Geek

The Fidelio Incident offered little beyond a well-written and well-acted story that was far too sparsely scattered around disappointingly uninspiring gameplay.- God is a Geek

There’s an enjoyable time to be had Gangs of Sherwood, especially with others, but it just doesn’t do anything well enough to stand out from the crowd.- God is a Geek

Access Denied is a better episode than the last, helping to refocus on the Order of the Stone's adventures, but the standalone nature of the stories are really exposing the weaknesses of the Telltale model.- God is a Geek

Guns of Icarus Alliance brings a cool Steampunk vibe to a flying armada of ships, but a steep learning curve, and a lack of meaningful explanations of systems means the fun takes a while to come through.- God is a Geek

Boundless is a game heavy on exploration and crafting. The existence of craft able portals to other worlds extends the scope considerably, but obtuse recipes and unintuitive menus dampen the enthusiasm somewhat.- God is a Geek

The light-hearted fun gameplay is still prevalent here and while the game has many good points, the disappointments within LEGO Marvel's Avengers means it never really live up to its potential.- God is a Geek

The Missing’s story is one that everyone needs to experience. It is personal and very unique. A lot of the game looks great even in handheld mode but this could definitely have used a bit more time for the Switch version. It has a bit too many issues on Switch. If you haven’t played this and want to, look at the other platforms because in its current state, the performance issues and other annoyances make this a lesser version of a great game.- God is a Geek

Samurai Warriors 4 is likeable but not loveable. There’s an illusion of depth here, but overall this just makes it more frustrating when you realise it’s as deep as a puddle.- God is a Geek

While the title included might have been good in the 90s, the Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection doesn't quite hold up today. You do get a decent amount of games, some are pretty similar, and other than the SNES version, few are as fun to play as they were back then.- God is a Geek

Atomicrops is an action-packed rogue-like farming simulator crossed with a frenetic twin-stick shooter. It is filled with good humour and some interesting systems, but the perma-death feels a little out of sorts with the idea of growing things.- God is a Geek

Welcome to Elk is an interesting biographical game about how stories help shape communities. It features some interesting mini-games and a good cast of characters, but the stories feel a little too personal and at times you feel like an intruder.- God is a Geek

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame is a lot of fun, but the camera angles are diabolical in co-op, detracting from the fun that playing with someone normally brings. The story is weak, but the humour more than makes up for it, and the diverse combat feels great to control, especially when racking up a 100-hit combo.- God is a Geek
