On average, a single level doesn't take more than three minutes to finish, and with that in mind, it doesn't take long to factor in that the title doesn't have much longevity...Once you've gone through once, you have done it all.

If you’re looking for another fun multiplayer game, Untold Legends is definitely for you. It’s also great for a pick up and play.

Battle Archives Vol. 1 does a graceful job in proper organization and presentation, and the ports are arcade-perfect --although they may lend themselves to a better appreciation for today's game mechanics. Unfortunately, the online multiplayer included in the Japanese release is sorely missed for the U.S. title, and that deeply lessens its value.

If you’ve been jonesing for more armadillo rolling, Grock-bashing, tower defense fun, you’ll definitely enjoy Dillon’s Rolling Western: The Last Ranger.

Either shooter fans will hate the overworld exploration levels that the RPG segments offer, or the RPG fans will hate the difficult shooting elements, but it wouldn't hurt either gamer to step out of their element for once and try something new.

Advent Rising also suffers from its really short lifespan. Gamers can quickly move through this one in an afternoon, and the open ending keeps you wanting more, but who knows how long that will be.

You'll be better off watching the movie than playing it, and if you really feel the urge to play something fun, go pick up "Psychonauts" instead.

While I’m not usually a huge fan of tactical RPGs, I can totally see how fans of the genre would get a lot out of this game. Between the roguelike nature of the levels and the fact you’re basically creating your army from scratch, no two playthroughs of Othercide will ever be quite the same. Provided you’re cool with dying a lot, that makes for a pretty unique experience.

How Puddle remains as a game for you will depend on your skills and also your ability to work with physics and the elements. If you feel you have a very strong grasp on them, then this game is right up your physics alley. Otherwise, the complexity, Big Bang Theory elemental wit, and strict learning curve may act as a deterrent to many puzzle novices. I for one donate this game to science, as I'm a better gamer than number cruncher…well played nerds…well played.

Despite spending a majority of the game running for your life, the atmosphere, enemies and environments contain some of the most eerily disturbing assets I’ve seen in a game. As a horror movie buff, you get a real sense of appreciation and inspiration for some classic horror movies. While clearly not for everyone, Outlast 2 is a memorable fright fest that packs the appropriate types of jump scares and gore galore. If you haven’t tried, make sure to play the original first. I will be going back to the first games DLC entitled The Whistleblower in the near future.

Overall, Armored Core V is definitely a game worth checking out, especially if you have any love for mech themed video games. Again, it's remarkably more similar to Chromehounds than the last couple Armored Core games on consoles, but there's enough of an Armored Core element here that it won't completely turn away loyal fans of the series.

I can't see the value here, outside of the level editor. If you're content to buzz through the single player without posting up the best times/result, you'll finish it in about four hours, and the co-op mode being offline only feels pretty limited in scope.

When Mafia III gets things right, it really gets things right. It has the kind of soundtrack and vibe that most other games would kill to have, and it's built around an incredibly compelling protagonist. It's nowhere close to being perfect, but there's enough good stuff here that, ultimately, it's hard to stay too mad at Mafia III.

The single most irritating aspect of RAW's CAW option, however, is the complete absence of the ability to use ripped songs on the hard drive as part of the wrestler entrance.

A painfully average game with excellent production values, hampered by clueless AI and a schizophrenic approach to detail. Just like "Monday Night Raw" over the past 18 months, when you think about it.

A high quality fighting game. Just be wary that the GC controller isn’t the best for it.

Even though The Rub Rabbits is leaps and bounds over its predecessor, and weaves a unique tale with amazing style and grace...playing the game will give any Feel the Magic vet a fit of deja vu.

Tennis in the Face may not push the PS4 to its limits (I doubt the eventual Vita version will even do that either), but it's still a lot more enjoyable than any number of other more complex games — and quite frankly, I'll take enjoyable over complex any day of the week.

To be fair, it’s not as if arcade bullet hell shooters lend themselves to all kinds of different gameplay styles, but it still makes the game feel a little lacking in content. Of course, if you just want some retro-y arcade bullet hell action, then that’s not going to bother you too much. Terror Squid may not have variety, but as I said, it does one thing very well — which is one more thing done well than many games can muster.

It looks nice enough, I suppose, but not to the point where I'd say you must own it just because of the graphics. If you're looking for something that will help you pass the time in a bland, mostly inoffensive way, then this is the game for you, I guess, but otherwise, don't bother.

My ranting aside, this game, while flawed in many areas, is decent to play single player.

Due to the over simplistic controls they fall just a bit short to make a game that can capture a group of people for more than a couple of minutes at a time.

Personally, I don't see the appeal. The combat is incredibly shallow (which, admittedly, makes sense, since you've always got to keep that relentless Shine Raid in mind). Managing resources isn't all that fun, since you know you're going to lose most of them at the end of your current run.

London Detective Mysteria is silly fan fiction where Sherlock Holmes and Queen Victoria and Miss Marple and Jack the Ripper (or at least their proxies) all interact and no one bats an eye. But sometimes, you don’t need to bat an eye, and you just need to go with it. If you’re a fan at all of visual novels, this is definitely one of the times to just go with it.

Haven Park isn’t going to make you forget its influences – and you should definitely play those other games before playing this one, since they’re both much better – but it’s still enjoyable enough that if you’ve got a few hours to spare and want to play something charming and wholesome, it’ll do the trick.

X-Out Resurfaced is a very simple, no frills shooter that provides a moderate to steep challenge for even the toughest players. Its presentation and gameplay doesn’t try to compete with the bigger releases and it really doesn’t have to. It stands on its own as a fun action shooter game that many will find charming. Don’t expect a mind-blowing story, quirky characters or any wild plot twists with this one, but do expect a fun and challenging ride that will stay with you for a while.

A great game for a group of friends as well as for the younger crowd. Its target audience actually ends up being a great decision because of the easy to pick up and simple gameplay.

As you play, you progress through the story and level up the Exosuit of choice, which could be a drag if you like to play with various suits and classes. There is a Battle Pass in place also that has its own leveling which is a bit slower than the character leveling. I think once I play a bit more through the season the game will open a bit more and give more level and enemy variety. I just feel locking the story behind a multiplayer mode is a drag but again I see potential here.
