We're not talking the second coming of Tetris here, but Groovin' Blocks is a fresh entry into a crowded genre. Most importantly, it's unique enough to stand out in said genre.
-
Groovin' Blocks is a one trick pony, but the developers have put a lot of care and effort into making it a fun little pony.
-
Games Master UKLumines with thumping rhythm. [Oct 2010, p.77]
-
Odds are that if you like these kinds of games, you'll have some fun with Groovin' Blocks, but if this isn't your thing it won't win you over.
-
The game has basically one trick up its sleeve, but a trick that it executes very smoothly.
-
My ranting aside, this game, while flawed in many areas, is decent to play single player.
