Daily RadarA good game on basically all accounts, Charge 'N Blast brings adreline-pumping, arcade-style insanity back to the Dreamcast.
-
It's a well done arcade shooter and the perfect game to toss in when you have some time to kill.
-
While this makes Charge'N Blast an excellent rental for a night or two, the lack of gameplay longevity makes Charge'N Blast go out with a "dud" rather than a bang.
-
What's there is actually a good deal of fun, but it wouldn't be an understatement to say that you can finish the game in an afternoon, and for most gamers that just won't cut it.
-
If the length of this Review were to reflect the actual amount of time it takes to get through Charge 'N Blast in its entirety, it wouldn't be long-enough to fill a Wendy's work application form. Short length! Linearity!
-
A clichéd shooter with little to no replay value.
-
AllDreamcastEasily the biggest problem with Charge 'N Blast is that it has zero replay value. The only thing that was added to the home version was a Time Attack mode where you can see how fast you can make it through each level. Wow, I'm excited.
