It’s not going to wow you with its graphics or anything, but it’s still easy to see how One Eyed Kutkh would be appealing to people who don’t usually play video games. On the one hand, that’s really just another way of saying that if you’re looking for a challenge or something that will wow you, One Eyed Kutkh probably isn’t it. But if you’re an optimist looking for the good news, or if you’re looking for a way to hook someone just starting out with games, there are certainly worse ways to do it than with this one.

Overall, I feel like Sleeping Dogs is the start to something that has the potential to get even better down the road. I really love the setting, characters, and hand to hand combat of the game, but the remainder feels a little recycled in comparison to other open-world games we've played so far this generation.

Still, the bottom line is that both Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light are good games, regardless of whether you’re playing solo or (locally) with a friend. They were a breath of fresh air for the series when they first released a decade ago, and The Lara Croft Collection is a great opportunity to discover them, whether it’s anew or for the first time.

The Sega Ages line up on The Switch continue to impress with each release. While this one doesn’t break new ground, it still manages to fit right in with the other games in the collection. It’s decently priced at $7.99, so it won’t hurt your wallet even if you are simply curious. A less packed release for sure, but still a good addition to the line up and your collection.

Given how complex a lot of modern RPGs can be, there's something refreshing about how straightforward everything is here. Asdivine Hearts won't turn any heads for innovation, but if it's just an old-fashioned RPG adventure you're after, it delivers that in spades.

I for one love what ideas the developers had in store with The Godfather II. The strategy elements were well thought out, implemented nicely, and the game really gives players the feeling of controlling your own family. If a bit more polish and time were given to the game’s action portion, The Godfather II would indeed be one you couldn’t refuse.

Your enjoyment of Kid Tripp will depend on how much you want your nostalgia catered to, and how steep a challenge you like in your retro platformers. If your answer to both questions is “a lot,” then you’ll definitely be in heaven here.

Super Skull Smash GO! 2 Turbo doesn’t try to break the mold that’s been around for several decades, but it doesn’t really need to. It promises players retro-infused platforming fun, and, by any measure, it firmly delivers on that promise.

If the worst things you could say about Jet Kave Adventure are that it copies Donkey Kong Country and it’s a little short…well, that’s about right. It’s not going to make you forget the original, and you may feel slightly short-changed as far as value goes, but I’ve definitely played much worse than those.

Even in the wake of ESPN’s fierce competition and 20-dollar price tag, like Madden, March Madness is just a hint better than Sega’s College Hoops title.

While the game is beautiful, and the story mode is a lot more engaging and interesting than that presented in "Spider-Man 2," some of the lackluster combat options and changes to web-slinging keep it from being amazing.

MLB 12: The Show on the Vita does a pretty good job getting the nuances right, but fails to deliver on the fluff that gamers have a chance to see on the PS3 version.

EvoCreo doesn’t stray too far from the Pokémon formula, all things considered. But it also doesn’t really need to do more, either. It may be a clone, but it’s a well-made one that does everything you’d hope for from the game it’s copying. That’s not enough to break EvoCreo out of Pokémon’s shadow, but it’s enough that if you’re a PC gamer and you want to play Pokémon without owning a Nintendo system, it’ll certainly be a tolerable substitute.

Metro 2033 has something for nearly everyone, held back mainly by the A.I. I feel largely that if the enemy behaviors had been further tended to, that the game could have really soared in the same way that Halo did in its time.

For $20, this release is a great value, giving fans that missed out a chance to play on current consoles. I look forward to Resident Evil 4 despite this being the 20th or so re-release. The real wait is for the Resident Evil 2 Remaster.

Despite some of these issues, I still found Citizens of Earth to be largely enjoyable, and it does a solid job of capturing that 16-bit RPG feel the developers were clearly going for.

If you want a traditional, linear experience with clear goals and objectives, Atomfall probably isn’t what you’re after. It’s very much a player-directed experience – for better and for worse, depending on your perspective. However, if you’re the type who wants a game to give you the freedom to play however you want, then you owe it to yourself to check out Atomfall.

In other words, Minutes is exactly the kind of game that should work on the Vita — the sort of thing you squeeze in between classes and during short commutes. But it just doesn't work that way.

If you've grown tired of having your hand held through tutorial after tutorial, and incredibly easy arcade racers, the challenge offered by Unbounded is sure to appeal to you. I've definitely found myself enjoying this title a lot more than I would have anticipated, and urge racing fans to check it out.

I’m not going to say not to buy Super Soccer Blast: America VS Europe if you’re a fan of arcade soccer, but if you played Super Soccer Blast last year (or even if you played Super Sports Blast, which also includes that game), then there’s really no reason to pick this up too.

At a $9.99 price point it feels like you're definitely getting a solid game, even if it's missing the online mode that I was hoping to see, and if there's DLC support for the game in the future, then it's a pretty good starting point for the game in general.
