It lacks the originality of the first, and it reuses most of the same art assets the first employed, which is both understandable, given its minimalist approach, but also disappointing to see so little effort put forth to set it apart from its predecessor.- Gaming Age

I don’t want to overhype Bridge Constructor, by any means. It’s not a console-style experience, depth-wise (or in any other way, either). But you know what? On the Vita, it doesn’t need to be — it just needs to be a fun, addictive experience that you can play in short bursts, and it delivers on that front perfectly.- Gaming Age

Its combat is solid enough that if you want something that captures the same feeling as PlatinumGames or Ninja Theory circa 2011 – and don’t mind sitting through a little too much talking to get there – then it’ll more than do the trick.- Gaming Age

Rise: Race The Future could definitely be improved, but there’s a good enough base here that if you’re looking for a fun futuristic racing game, this one (mostly) delivers.- Gaming Age

A far better game pound for pound that any other Civilization game made. But for a gaming paradigm that has been around for almost ten years, there's no reason for the genre to still be stumbling over the same problems over and over, and that's exactly what's happening here.- Gaming Age

Again, this is still a great game, but it’s a port that unfortunately feels largely unnecessary.- Gaming Age

The note charts, which everyone was the most worried about with a new developer, were surprisingly well done and most importantly fun to play.- Gaming Age

An exceptional title. Even in a generation where 3d is king, Treasure has managed to create one of the most enjoyable titles in either dimension.- Gaming Age

You’ll definitely need to enjoy RPGs to get the most out of it (or anything at all out of it, really), but sometimes, simply being a solid genre game is all you can ask for out of a game.- Gaming Age

In other words, even if The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles has “Ace Attorney” right there in its name, it’s not the Ace Attorney that you may be expecting. This game finds the series branching off into a new and different direction, and as I said up top, it’s not inherently good different or bad different, just different-different.- Gaming Age

It all feels like a little bit much. I’m not going to say that games shouldn’t be ambitious, but We. The Revolution probably would have been a whole lot better if it had tried to do just a little bit less.- Gaming Age

Veterans can complete this in one sitting of 4-8 hours if so inclined. Even with all the monotonous backtracking and escort missions, the game is far too short. The downside is comparable to seeing a great horror flick that is only 80 minutes long.- Gaming Age

Demon Gaze wasn’t the kind of game that was so bad that it needed to be reinvented from the ground up, it was so average enough that a sequel could make slight improvements and still feel like progress. Luckily, Demon Gaze II does that: like the first game, it’s solid enough that you can play it without being too disappointed, but with the added bonus that things are a little bit better this time around.- Gaming Age

While I can’t wholeheartedly suggest Legend of Mana to everyone, I would say it’s worth a look if you’re willing to sink time into understanding the mechanics of the game and don’t mind a little aimless exploration. Or, if you’re like me and already knew what to expect going in, you can have a little peace of mind that Square Enix and M2 did a really solid job of bringing Legend of Mana back to life on modern hardware.- Gaming Age

Despite some issues, it’s hard to suggest not playing Minecraft Dungeons, considering the low entry price on most platforms, and the fact that it’s free on Xbox One via Game Pass if you’re already subscribed. It’s a fun take on a traditional Action-RPG that utilizes the Minecraft charm really well and will make for a fun time, especially if you can get a friend or two to tag along with you.- Gaming Age

It may be fun to play once or twice at the odd party or two, but beyond that, you’re better off grabbing the first Jackbox Party Pack and playing You Don’t Know Jack.- Gaming Age

As innovations go, I admit, that's not a major thing. In fact, it's barely a minor thing. But considering we're talking about an inexpensive casual game, all that really matters is whether Baseball Riot constitutes an enjoyable way to pass the time - and, thankfully, it does.- Gaming Age

I liken One Piece World Seeker to a filler arc or a movie for the series. It’s non-canonical, but nonetheless can be an enjoyable experience. The game leans heavily on the player to be knowledgeable to the series and might be a turn off for those not familiar with the series. This is a competent title, but it falls short of what the teaser trailer promised.- Gaming Age

Digimon Survive is a talk-heavy game that expects you to spend a lot of time reading, and a little bit of time fighting. That may not be the most enjoyable thing if you just want a Pokémon substitute, but as visual novels go, it’s one of the better ones.- Gaming Age

I'll be playing the multiplayer for months to come, and I'm sure quite a few folks will as well. I'm a little burned out on the single player experience though, and while I feel like it's a decent enough romp for a FPS title, the storyline did little to grab my attention, and the whole Call of Duty formula is starting to feel a little tired at this point.- Gaming Age

NHL 07 is fun, fast, addicting, plays well, and eats up your free time even better...While the competition plays a fine game of hockey, it felt too much like the same old song and dance to recommend over EA’s brand this year.- Gaming Age

Superficially it would be extremely easy to pass on this title. Yet when this title was pitched to me as Onion Soup Interactive’s digital love letter to all things Japan, the inner-weeaboo in me found the title to be oddly charming. I would certainly cast a more critical eye if I were tasked to review this studio’s future titles, but for a first effort this one’s not too bad.- Gaming Age

MM surprised me with it’s slick graphical engine, solid game play, and involving depth and appeal. One thing that makes MM stand out is the fact it’s more of a futuristic sport, than a plain old kill and destroy storyline.- Gaming Age

If you're already a big fan of the whole Assassin's Creed lore, then I think Discovery is worth checking out just to fill in some gaps. As a stand-alone game it's fun to play, but the story stuff isn't explained that well for newcomers, and I think any impact you'd get out if it would be completely lost.- Gaming Age

The controls are solid, the storyline is at least entertaining, the cop chases are fun, the graphics and sound are both well done and polished, and the time it'll take you to finish it makes it worth a purchase.- Gaming Age
