Play MagazineVisually, the SlugFest series has always looked damn good...And SlugFest just wouldn't be SlugFest without the antics of Tim Kitzrow and Jim Shorts. Together they have some of the funniest play-by-play I've ever heard. [June 2004, p.71]
-
If you thought Slugfest was a little too childish or simple, youll enjoy the new changes like the franchise mode. Well all enjoy the new online gameplay, though.
-
It has plenty of meat to go along with the sweetness, and is part of your well-balanced gaming diet.
-
Baseball games are sure to get a kick out of its take on the classic game, while others will likely enjoy the easily accessible gameplay and hilarious, hard hitting action.
-
This is an arcade blast based on timing and violence, and its a ton of fun if you dont approach sports games as simulations of the real thing. This is a videogame in every sense of the phrase.
-
It wouldve been nice to have a create-a-team feature, or even a create-a-character feature, but maybe well see those the next time around.
-
It flat out fails to cash in on its unique take on Major League Baseball. The Slugfest version of the game is dull and annoying.
