Too little too late!

It gets very, very low marks for 'tossing down with the rest of the boys' and taking part in the cliché and amorality that most Star Trek games aspire to.

It just feels like the same hacked out stuff that we've seen before. Lack of player choices and absurd overall difficulty don't serve well for impressing a player.

Go out and play pool. Some games are meant to be played in real life -- bowling, pinball, and especially pool.

Just another mediocre film knock off of a game, one good for only about an hour or two of light, mindless fun.

Stunted gameplay and lackluster story, paired with some good excitement, and AI that can only be described as dumber than a doorknob doesn’t make for a good combination, but there’s been far worse in the history of First Person Shooters.

It's far from terrible, but not far enough.

Relatively unique in the fact that it makes clear use of the Hanseatic League and has many references to the history of that large organization, this title still fails to present worthwhile gameplay, leaving the character to shuttle supplies from town to town, without much reward or entertainment value.

Its sub-par AI made it boring. I found myself pushing to get through each level as fast as possible (which is pretty fast against the unimaginative enemy).

Some of the issues with the AI and lack of quality sound definitely hold its potential back.

This game really lacks the small things that make you feel like you are in a football game.

There is absolutely no progression of personal growth nor will the fundamental storyline leave you wanting more. If there was anything that saves it from the trash it would be its thrilling graphics that go beyond normal second rate flight simulations.

Sadly, its similarity to earlier titles and it's somewhat mechanical game play, this one gets a Fans Only for fans of city sims and fans of all things ancient or ancient Roman.

Aside from not producing the kinds of graphics that you’d normally see out of a PS2, Formula One 2001 also has a lackluster interface, unconvincing physics and damage engine, and a shortage of good audio effects.

Common and uninteresting, this game stands out only in that one of the factions eerily like Cylons from Battlestar Galactica.

I think the game may end up being too easy for the older end of the Peter Pan watching group and too difficult for the younger end.

Graphically, Blazing Angels is actually much less impressive in motion than the screenshots would imply.

The game itself is showing signs of wear. There’s only so much cosmetic surgery they can do and so many new lands they can create before it becomes obvious that the game is just on its last legs.

Lack of character development, consistency, good voice acting, and any sort of entertainment makes Orphen an abysmal experience. It has decent graphics and is nice to look at, but it certainly isn't any fun to play.

It's an average survival horror game without any real scares. Sure the controls are nice and there are a couple of minor surprises, but the game feels dated and imagine less.

While I think it was a good idea to make you work a bit before you get the full peep show, the way you unlock the unobscured view ends up more blind luck than skill. There is a 50/50 chance that the drunk chick will know that a Granny Smith is an apple but your flash meter depends on guessing correctly.

As far as my ears went, I think the jarringly bad voice acting, especially with units that are talking regularly, is what really killed me.

Nothing chaps my hide more than a really good idea for a video game absolutely destroyed by poor controls and subpar cause and effect.

SOE's uninspired gameplay, which essentially boils down to "run here, beat up this person, return," repeated over and over and over again seem to be its greatest weakness.

There are a number of issues that make the game more difficult to play than it should be including an unfriendly interface and lack of instruction book that at least shows the game's capabilities.

If the mini-games were easier to play, and there were more of them, paired with an adventure mode that wasn't quite such a throwaway piece of gameplay, this would be a really good title.

I enjoy playing SimCoaster, but after fighting its poor video performance and choppy sound for several hours, the game became more frustrating than fun. Underneath all the bugs there is a great game here, but Bullfrog sent it out to the stores way too early.

Gaming fans will absolutely hate Alias, seeing through its nearly transparent plot and shoddy gameplay in an instant, but fans of the show will likely enjoy the chance to take on the roll of their favorite character even if it’s in a bad game.

Postal rates a 64 for disappointing gameplay and general bad judgment in setting the game's focus on the shock value rather than on anything substantial or creative, and for wasting the obvious artistic talents of Postal's designers.

Poor translation from console to PC, nothing really new or engaging about the gameplay and the fact that you’d swear this was a DOS game combine to make this an awful gaming experience.

The plot was as dry as the Sahara desert, the graphics were weak, and the controls were downright comical.

The thing that makes this game so bad is that it could have been so good. Improve the graphics, touch-up the controls and fix the multiplayer mode and you'd have a decent game.

Yet another flop for the Star Trek game franchise. Has there ever been a good one? At this point I really can't recall any. The many failures such as this one cast clouds over the possible sunrise of any good games that may have been released.

Uninteresting gameplay.

It doesn’t stand out. There’s nothing here to get excited about, as the gameplay is standard fare, and like many Capcom games, your ears are gonna bleed when you hear the voice acting.

It offers nothing new and improved. If you’re a fan of the series and absolutely must have the updated rosters, then you may want to... uh, forget it, don’t buy it anyway!

It looks nice, plays well if you can avoid combat, and has enough puzzles to keep you intrigued for a while.

There is nothing this game does better than any of the other games. I say pass and wait until next year.

Yes, the QB Challenge Mode is back, and quite frankly, it’s still a blast to play. But for this reviewer, with drab graphics, poor animation, an unforgivable audio package, and several game play and AI issues once again rearing their ugly heads, this game is a hurtin’ turkey for sure.

Is there something good here? Yes, Faces of War is quite original and that’s good. However, it is marred by bad design choices, and in the end I’d just wait for the next iteration of this game.

The overall feeling I got after playing this title was “what could it have been”.

During the mulitplayer portion of the game, I also encountered some pretty big design flaws, which you might call bugs, but I hesitate to do so. A tag team match can't be ended the normal ways each time, and I've played with three of my friends for a half hour or more without being able to end a single match.

The only saving grace that can be found is the actual gameplay because without it, it falls into the "Don’t touch with a stick" category.

The controls in V-Rally 3 are frustrating, having less to do with real world physics and more to do with turning my childhood RC racer into a full blown rally car.

This is an ambitious series of games targeted and, who knows, if they do well enough, maybe later versions will add a hint of a third dimension.

With a weak historical storyline and little in the way of good looking graphics, Fate of the Dragon is another RTS I’d be quick to shelve.

Shape up the way the game flows, its speed, and a better control/attack system, and this might be worth looking at.

I can't help but feel that it's the same kind of rushed-out crap that gets tossed into the bargain bin at your favorite game store just weeks after its release.

A mediocre game. While I really, really enjoy collecting the fighter planes available in this game, I could always start a new Micro Machines collection.

In all my gaming years, I have never felt the frustration that I felt when playing this game. On more than one occasion, I had to physically get up and leave the room or risk throwing the controller through my television screen.

Its inferior graphics and incomplete audio are a considerable distraction and the numerous gameplay issues cause problems of their own.

Nothing wrong with our European friends taking a stab at an American topic but a litle more technical/cultural consulting and the awkward prose would not be as noticeable.

Die-hard Batman fans may be able to get past the monotonous gameplay but others probably won't be as motivated.

Sadly, it's still hard to really pull off your basic wrestling moves with any regularity, and more often than not, you'll be repeating the same move over and over again.

While there were moments in the game that I really enjoyed, the areas of frustration and touchy controls made the full game less than enjoyable.

This lack of variety in empires also leads to limited possibilities for opposing forces in your random games, to say the least. You'll spend a lot of time facing the Koreans.

It's a completely weak title. If you're a diehard KOF fan, you might find something worthwhile here, but I can't say as I found more than a few minutes of fun.

I was hugely un-impressed. It just becomes very repetitive and boring after the first few hours, because you realize that it will never improve.

With racing that’s both difficult and hard to control, as well a poor trick system, I’d be quick to pass this up.

The combat needed to be tons better to be really enjoyable.

Definitely falls flat on its face with simplistic, arcade style gameplay and a lack of decent execution. Most certainly a bargain bin title, I wouldn’t even rent this one if I had the chance.

If you absolutely loved the arcade version, don’t buy this game. You will be so disappointed that you will want to skeet shoot the disc itself.

Features a system that dynamically adjusts the speed of other racers so that you’re never more than six seconds behind or so. This, more than anything else, kneecaps this game’s sense of fun, as it blows competitiveness out of the water.

The excessively high frustration level and poor quality cut scenes make this game about as fun as reading "Moby Dick" during your Christmas vacation.

Scooby Doo: Mystery Mayhem might be enjoyable for a young audience who expects little as far as challenge. I would expect however that even they would lose interest quickly.

It's decidedly mediocre and won't appeal to anyone but die-hard fans of the show. Bummer, dudes.

All in all, while occasionally entertaining, the hunting sequences of this game just aren’t fun enough to appeal to most people and that’s all this game really has going for it given that the minigames aren’t even worth mentioning.
