It's definitely fun, but the only real innovations, the EyeToy games, merely provide a fleeting diversion. Unless you're hoping they'll breathe new life into this franchise, you won't be disappointed.- GameSpy

A beautiful gaming experience with a solid online aspect. If you can manage to work your way through the steep learning curve for the controls, it gets easy to lose yourself in what the game has to offer.- GameSpy

It's a heck of a lot better than the recent batch of Mega Man X games. If you're looking for a hardcore RPG experience, pass on this, but Mega Man fans should appreciate the change of pace.- GameSpy

The thing that immediately struck me when playing the game was the amazing amount of minutiae that's been included for eagle-eyed fans.- GameSpy

It's not the most exciting concept in gaming history, but it's one of the best games that I've played all year...The only thing holding Katamari back from a five star rating is that it's over way too quickly.- GameSpy

Though it's a fairly robust expansion, most of its content isn't immediately accessible, nor is it even readily apparent, especially for beginning players.- GameSpy

The interface works a whole lot better on the PC, and if your machine is up to running it all maxed out, then it will look that much cleaner. All this aside, however, the game itself is intense and utterly engrossing.- GameSpy

Though it's a bit rough around the edges, Second Sight packs a huge core of ideas into what could have been a standard shooter. Powerful psionics, extensive gun combat, and a great story are all just part of the plan.- GameSpy

If everything is so average, then why did I give Blood Will Tell the extra half-star? Well, it's got a damn fine story.- GameSpy

Just a first-person shooter with all the markings of mediocrity. It's got linear levels, an unimpressive arsenal, and simplistic shooter gameplay for both the single-player and multiplayer games.- GameSpy

At $19.99 you're not going to find a World War II strategic wargame that provides more bang for the buck. However, be forewarned that you're going to have to put in some serious effort to become good at this game.- GameSpy

It's still a decent game in the grand scheme of things, if you can get past a few fits of boredom and the desire to be Chewie.- GameSpy

All of the blasters sound different, as do the game's vehicles. It's a deeply immersive game in a lot of ways, and you'll actually feel like you're in the middle of a huge battle when in first-person view.- GameSpy

If you're a Star Wars fan and need to have the PC version, do yourself a favor and wait to pick this up on sale once all the patches have been released; after all, any game that lets you pick off Jawas and Ewoks can't be that bad.- GameSpy

The fighting is hard-hitting, intuitive, and satisfying, and the story-mode is well-developed enough to give it long-term legs despite it's lack of an online multiplayer component. On top of that, the manner to which the hip hop element has been realized is really impressive.- GameSpy

While Dawn of War doesn't break any new ground for the RTS genre, it is, nonetheless, a supremely polished and well-balanced example of it, a credit to both the development team, and a laurel wreath for the license it bears.- GameSpy

The new Open Ice mechanics allow for smoother, wide-open play than previous versions, and the Dynasty Mode is as deep and realistic as any I've ever seen.- GameSpy

How exactly did they manage to make Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 a better game? By making it more varied, and thus, more replayable. By far, the biggest upgrade to the game is the new GameFace II system, which allows you to create a player who looks like just about anyone you could possibly imagine.- GameSpy

If anything, the PC version skews towards golf fans because it's more of a simulation, but that doesn't change the fact Tiger 2005 is one of the best PC games of the year, and one of the deepest, most completely realized sports games you could ever hope to play.- GameSpy

Perhaps the worst aspect of this mode is that the difficulty level seems unexpectedly bipolar. Each challenge is either trivial or unreasonably hard.- GameSpy

Despite a few lags and slowdowns, the multiplayer action is always involving, and it gets pretty challenging when you're playing against a bunch of other humans. If you've got an Xbox Live account, you owe it to yourself to give Battlefront a try.- GameSpy
