Biomutant is an ambitious project, but it never excels at anything. There are too many incomprehensible design choices and frustrating moments, which in turn hinders the game from being truly great.

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition stays true to the series while doing enough of an update to make the price of admission worth it.

There is a good game just below the surface here, but Atlus has not implemented enough modernizations to make this remaster worth your time.

Not one boring second during battles, and getting new gear never gets tired. Outriders works very well.

Monster Hunter Rise is another great installment in the series.

Evil Genius 2 is absolutely... genius. It offers loads of super villain charm in a seamless, rewarding package.

It Takes Two is a charming, playful, tight, and extremely varied platformer which manages to stay fresh hour after hour, in a way few other games can.

At times charming and fun, but the design behind the game feels dated.

An interesting story is hampered by too much filler. The combat system is great, but pacing issues makes the game less enjoyable.

Maquette is colorful and sometimes quite smart, but the trial and error gameplay is frustrating.

Persona 5 Strikers is a solid action game whose combat only gets better with time, but the pacing is bogged down by a central mystery that's only so-so, lack of player agency and frequent story beats that drag out for way too long.

3D World remains as charming and fun as ever, with Bowser's Fury serving as an appetizing and unique, but also surprisingly cumbersome side dish.

Little Nightmares II is game that thanks to great puzzles, exceptional visuals and some truly chilling soundscapes almost manages to make the player ignore its somewhat clunky gameplay. Almost.

Destruction AllStars has a bunch of great ideas and unique twists on the standard car combat genre, but it's severely lacking in both content and gameplay variety.

Bonkies is a straight forward fun and chaotic party game with an easygoing demeanor and charm. You could play it by yourself, but it really excels when played in a group setting.

Hitman 3 is a good conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy. IO Interactive has fine tuned the Hitman formula through three games, and this third game offers some of the best moments in the series.

Sunlight manages to offer a quick, but effective, relief with its dreamlike story, painteresque forest and gorgeous choir rendition of Tchaikovsky's "Hymn of the Cherubim”.

Beyond Light is approaching the quality of both Forsaken and The Taken King.

The Pathless is exceptionally pretty, with great flow and even greater art design. The game loses some of its emotional punch thanks to the open world and the lack of clear pacing, but it's nonetheless a great experience.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is a fun and energetic trip to Hyrule. The heroes are all different and a joy to play, plowing through hordes of enemies while showering the screen in fireworks is a sight to behold.

Cyberpunk 2077 is many things, but polished is not one of them. Its strengths lie in its amazingly realistic world, its side stories and beautiful characters, and while the gunplay and driving mechanics are fun enough, the game sadly tells a rather uninteresting main story - one mired in massive technical errors and other shortcomings.

An atmospheric co-op game that offers just enough of a challenge to keep the players engaged.
