Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name may not be the best game in the series, but it is still a fantastic introduction to a series that it may be difficult to understand how to get started on.

It’s a lot of fun being a thief in the newest Thief. It’s not so much fun avoiding pesky enemies, navigating a claustrophobic city or bearing with the poor plot, but in the end the game manages to pull through nicely.

Conan Exiles is the best online-survival game I've played, despite the many bugs and shortcomings that make the game less polished than it should be. The exploration, crafting and survival mechanics are all great, but the game needs more polish and work before it can become a true gem.

Sonic Mania is a brief yet charming tribute to the haydays of the series. Still, the developers holds its source material in such reverence that surprises or new gameplay elements are kept at a bare minimum.

By trying to please so many different players the game will probably not satisfy anyone completely. Resident Evil veterans will feel like it is a bit too simple and unfaithful. New players will wonder about the 90s logic in spending so much time looking for keys so you can politely unlock doors when your backpack is loaded with rocket launchers and oversized shotguns which could just as easily have blown them off their hinges.

More figures to choose from, more boards to play on, and individual dice would have done a lot to lift this game up an extra notch, and extend its life somewhat.

Modern Warfare 3 doesn't reinvent gunpowder, but sticks to the recipe of the previous games in the series. With a decent story and good multiplayer it's a game worth playing, but the lack of willingness to add improvements in gameplay show a laziness often found in a complacent game series.

Despite its game mechanics being streamlined to cater the console-audience with a high tempo and a smaller set of statistics, Dragon Age II is still a massive role-playing adventure. With its immersive storyline and good class system, it its yet another Bioware game in the collection of great role-playing experiences.

Fable is still a charming and extremely engaging adventure. It's fun and entertaining, and the worlds Lionhead create are filled with magic. It is, however, showing it's age. Aside from the stiff animations several gameplay systems are out of date and could have benefited from an overhaul.

A solid, safe and well-made port to the PlayStation 4. Pretty visuals, hours of gameplay and solid combat makes this one of the best massive online games for console to date.

Ubisoft gives us streamlined solutions for most of the problems any third-person shooter would encounter. But a nonsensical storyline, monotonous missions, daft tactics, and a dozen other unpolished edges together makes Future Soldier a not all too impressive package.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is a huge step in the right direction, delivering on parts of the dream of being a pokémon trainer like never before. It's unfortunately also marred by a bland story, lackluster visuals and tons of small frustrations spread throughout.

While the game feels both unbalanced and frustrating at times, the core gameplay experience is chaotic, exhilarating and fun throughout. With more modes and maps, this could end up as a sleeper hit, although having to pay for entry might hurt the game's chances of finding a big enough player base.

Expeditions: Rome is probably developer Logic Artist's biggest and most impressive game, but not all aspects are equally rewarding, and when you're forced to do the same thing over and over again, the whole unfortunately becomes somewhat less than the sum of its parts.

Trine 3 is probably one of the most beautiful games you'll ever see. For the first time in the Trine series you can now navigate in three dimensions in this game. Maneuvering in three dimensions never feels forced but stays a gimmick throughout the game. It's a fairly short game, but the content and entertainment you get out of the four or five hour it takes to complete the game gives great value for your money.

Alpha Protocol is an ambitious and entertaining action-based role-playing game, but suffers from several irritating flaws. It offers much freedom and an exciting story, but it's fresh setting of international intrigue only rarely touches on reality and is for the most part unoriginal.

It's refreshing to see more split screen co-op on PC, but A Way Out fumbles in delivering on the premise. The clichè-filled story starts out too slowly, and the game is littered with tedious quick time events. The game sort of redeems itself towards the end, but wastes a lot of your time on it’s way there.

Hotline Miami 2 is a crazy, blood pounding, neon infused experience that tries to both celebrate and condemn the ultraviolence on screen. It's a high that leaves you both euphoric and nauseous at the same time, as you struggle against the unbalanced design and frustrating difficulty.

LEGO Worlds is actually quite a fun, charming adventure, with creativity out the wazoo. There is however way too much repetition, with a cumbersome building system and a sometimes immediate lack of clear objectives.
