Dorfromantik is the game version of a relaxing break. It's almost like putting together a puzzle, only in a slightly more interactive form. You lay down tiles with different landscape elements, and try to make them fit together.

Mixes Dance Dance Revolution, a ressurected Napoleon Bonaparte and parisian tourist information in a way that sounds absurd, but actually works very well. The game is visually beautiful, and the varied rhythm-based minigames utilizes everything the 3DS has to offer. However, you will have a hard time beating this game if you can't keep a beat.

Despite its outdated and confounding design choices, there's something deeply engaging about Metaphor: ReFantazio. The story pulls you in and the combat is excellent, making for an experience that's highly enjoyable - though at times incredibly frustrating.

LocoRoco is a fun, positive and incredibly charming game – the premise, graphics and music are all excellent, even eleven year after the game's original launch. However, there is too little variation, too much simplicity, and the gameplay clearly works best in short bursts.

Despite tedious loading times and unbalanced difficulty, Crimes & Punishments might just be Sherlock's finest game to date.

The Diofield Chronicle is an interesting take on the tactics formula, filled with political intrigues and beautiful music.

DriveClub is an authentic racing game, with engaging social aspects and beautiful graphics. It, however, severely lacks personality and might become stale after a while.

Patapon 1+2 Replay lets a new generation experience these cute and warmongering weridos. There's hardly anything new, but if you have yet to experience these games, now's your chance.

Truly iconic levels and fun goals contribute to make the first ten or so hours something quite special. It's only too bad that the nostalgia wears thin all too quickly, especially with Pro Skater 4 being a shadow of its former self.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale pits some of the most iconic PlayStation heroes against each other in a sprawling title fight where the overall feel of the game and its battle system are excellent. It's only too bad the game's lackluster variety options and tedious single player keep it from reaching its full potential.

Horizon Call of the Mountain is a gorgeous game that makes a good showcase for PS VR2, only hampered slightly by its predefined limited systems for exploration and combat.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is a fun game all the way, through awesome acrobatics and fantastic boss fights. It's a shame the rest of the game is so focused on endlessly fighting the same enemies over and over again.

Rainbow Six Extraction is a fun, slightly different game in the cooperative shooter genre. It's less chaotic, more methodical and maybe doesn't have the extreme peaks that, say, Back 4 Blood can have at its best.

Persona 5 Strikers is a solid action game whose combat only gets better with time, but the pacing is bogged down by a central mystery that's only so-so, lack of player agency and frequent story beats that drag out for way too long.

If you're a fan of Game of Thrones, Telltale's version is a must buy. It fleshes out the universe in a great way, with a really exciting story and a great cast of characters – you know, the way Telltale usually rolls. The game is however not without its flaws, including crammed in book characters, boring storylines and a tempo that sometimes is a drag.

Assassin's Creed Mirage is a solid adventure with an entertaining story and many engaging challenges. Sneaking in the shadows and picking off one guard after another is and will be great entertainment, and that's one reason why there are still new chapters in the series.

While having a great premise, awesome music and quite good puzzles, there's simply way too much downtime in The Sexy Brutale. Moments when you can put your controller aside and do other stuff, while waiting for the hours to pass. A shame, since it's actually a really, really cool game.

Fans of side scrolling roguelites will find plenty to sink their teeth into here. Though The Rogue Prince of Persia lacks the challenge and platforming precision of a game like Dead Cells, hitting that free flowing sweet spot of both parkour and combat is a joy.

Unlike a lot of other Ubisoft games Grow Home never overwhelms you with needless side-quests that go nowhere or watered down game mechanics. It's just you, a giant beanstalk, some floating islands and a little robot that can scamper up basically anything. It's a simple and fun little experience that definitely deserves to be played.

GRID 2 is an action-packed and intense experience, where the cars behave like in a Hollywood movie. It is an entertaining arcade racer, but there are a few flaws. The AI is weak, the number of tracks should be higher and the game is too simplified in a few areas.

Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs is a pretty good game, with a well written story, good voice acting, an atmospheric musical score, suitably varied and eerie environments, and quite a few stomach churning and downright creepy moments. It never gets boring or frustrating, and there are no passages in particular that qualify as less than enjoyable. Unfortunately, though, it’s just not that scary. And that’s quite the let down for a horror game.
