Dune: Awakening captures the spirit of its source material in a way few licensed games do – it’s a solid survival experience with flashes of brilliance, even if combat and endgame content still feel undercooked.- Gamer.no

Gods & Kings focuses on improving the already great experience that is to be found in the main mode of Civilization V. By adding a number of new civilizations and reinstating the concept of religion, Firaxis has made the game more diverse, especially for players who prefer not to take a militaristic approach.- Gamer.no

CounterSpy is stealthy, charming and clever, not only in its graphical style, but also in the way it handles the somewhat clichéd cold war spy drama gig.- Gamer.no

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown offers excellent level design and combat, as well as plenty of opportunities to explore the world. In many ways, the game represents both Prince of Persia's past and what the future may hold.- Gamer.no

As gamers we are taught that games should fit different formulas, game characters should be certain types, and stories should be told in certain ways. D4 refuses to accept the established methods and creates it's own rules like a drunk man on a focused mission. Sometimes it's good to let go of all inhibitions and join the drunk guy in his binge.- Gamer.no

Humoristic, self-aware and very polished MMO from Carbine. Fast-paced combat feels great, and the content gets harder and harder as the game goes along. End-game content can be a bit too hard to get access to, and the grind a bit too long.- Gamer.no

A great mix of two genres. The Outsiders has delivered great shooting and great music in a game that is as much a rythm game as a shooter.- Gamer.no

The new Ratchet & Clank is great fun for all ages, with a crazy arsenal of weapons, great characters, extremely solid mechanics and an amazing visual style that ties everything nicely together. The story feels slightly rushed however, and the absence of multiple planets from the original game feels like a huge blow to the fans of the series. Still, this is a must-have for PlayStation 4 owners.- Gamer.no

Mirror's Edge: Catalyst is a step above its predecessor in almost every way. No, it's not perfect, but when everything seamlessly blends together – the parkour, the speed, the city, the gameplay and the graphics – this is an experience like no other.- Gamer.no

Nier has one of the best casts ever seen. The constant bantering between the main characters is the perfect supplement to the frantic action where basic sword attacks are blended with massive magic attacks. Every so often Cavia turns everything upside down. Suddenly you'll be playing survival horror, a rail shooter, or possibly even a classic text adventure.- Gamer.no

Dead Space 3 is focused more on the action than the scary part, but still a step in the right direction for the series. Isaac is on a mission, and many diverse areas make it an entertaining, varied story with plenty of exciting moments.- Gamer.no

Broken Age is a smart, charming and funny throwback to the adventure games of yore. The characters defines the game, and come to life through clever writing, great voice acting and a gorgeous visual style. What holds the experience back is mostly a lackluster ending and increasingly obscure puzzles, the type you kinda need a guide, or immense trial and error, to figure out.- Gamer.no

Solid gameplay combined with superheroes and villains make an interesting and enjoyable fighting game. A surprisingly lengthy and entertaining story makes you feel like you're part of a superhero movie, and the challenges will keep you coming back for more.- Gamer.no

Shiftlings is a brilliant co-op puzzle game from Norway. The game let’s the players control two characters – one small and one big – through the very well designed and often challenging maps Shiftlings offers. The players can swap size at any time, and must combine gravity and the different sizes to overcome challenges. Shiftlings is hilarious with a friend, but lose a lot of its charm and fun if you’re on your own.- Gamer.no

It's hard not to notice that the story is slow at times. Quantic Dream could easily have trimmed the fat during some of the longer sequences. At the same time the studio deserves praise for good digital acting and a script that is better than earlier attempts.- Gamer.no

Ion Fury is the ultimate retro first-person shooter that feels authentic because of its use of the ancient game engine Build. While it comes with certain limitations, it feel modern enough to be both playable and enjoyable by a 2019 audience. No story, no cutscenes – just shoot whatever moves and find hidden levers and keycards. Love it or hate it, Ion Fury brings back a certain 90s nostalgia reminiscent of Duke Nukem 3D.- Gamer.no

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD features an engaging combat system and a great universe to explore, making for a stellar JRPG, with it a distinctive style and tone. However, the experience is hampered by too many protagonists, a clunky camera and the fact that the HD-remastering is less than optimal in oh so many different ways.- Gamer.no
