NBA '08 is not comparable to the quality of the other basketball games out there. The visuals, audio and gameplay are all far from perfect and the different modes in the game aren't worth mentioning. However, never does the game become incredibly bad. At times, there is some enjoyment to be had.

The Crew 2 is a lot like its predecessor, but it seems to hide the multiplayer even though the singleplayer is not that exciting.

Sea of Solitude is very outspoken about themes like lonelyness and depression, but it simply does not know when to shut up.

ReCore wants to be a perfect combination of action game and open world Metroidvania, but it is not able to offer the consistent adventure that we were looking for. There is simply no balance.

Dead Island: Riptide can't really justify its own existence. It has the potential of being a great zombie action game, but the slow pace, many technical problems and the meaningless missions make it a frustrating mess. These are the same problems the first game dealt with, and they haven't been resolved.

Deus Ex: The Fall isn’t the great game we’ve been hoping for. It’s actually quite disappointing. Big chunks of it just don’t work well, but decent fiction makes up for some of the problems. It’s not enough to warrant a purchase though.

Killing Floor is mediocre on almost every level. The game may be cheap to buy but that doesn't take away the fact that game comes short almost every end. You can have some cooperative fun with this shooter, but this means you will have to ignore a lot of its shortcomings and for many gamers that will be too much of a pain.

The well put together RPG elements in the career mode cannot save the outdated and stiff looking Smash Court Tennis 3.

Building a dungeon and fighting for world domination as a bad guy: familiar territory that doesn’t bore quickly. But Impire lacks focus, feels messy and requires lots of patience. Because of this, playing it often feels like a chore. Impire has a bunch of good ideas, of which none are well developed.

Call of Juarez: The Cartel moves into dangerous territory by dropping the Western-setting. It loses that special something and what's left is nothing more than a unimpressive modern shooting gallery. The story mode, however, though filled with clichés, is high on content and has some great ideas. Unfortunately, it won't pull you through its rough bits.

A good idea that turned into a bad game. The Don's View has potential, but with a very low difficulty you can take over where and whenever you like. The action itself is pretty mediocre, the graphic style even worse. The Don's View can form a good starting point for a new game, but pretty please with sugar on top, don't mess with the Don.

Haze has not become the game we all expected it to be. Although the idea is nice, the result is absolutely not original. Next to that the game has terrible AI and voice-acting. Graphics has it's limits and vehicles are really uncontrolable. We expected better from the developer.

Fallout 76 has many bugs, but that is not its main problem. That is the wrong focus. The fun aspects of Fallout are gone now that you always have to be online.

The Chronicles series has the same issue as the bigger Assassin's Creed games: it is too much of the same thing. ACC: India is like ACC: China with a different surrounding. It's not bad, but it is boring.

Despite the power of the blue Hedgehog, Sonic Unleashed never really impressed us. The game has its moments, but these moments are so rare and easily forgotten when you've reached the point where you almost throw your controller against the tv. The race levels are awesome, but with the heavy load of the uninspiring Werehog levels, those aren't even enough to give the game a sufficient grade.

Top Spin 3 for the Nintendo DS seems a reasonable game at first, but soon it unveils itself as a shallow experience. There's little variation in the gamelpay and it's not clear if the developers were focussing on realism of arcade.

Shank is an old school side scrolling beat 'em up with a new lick of paint. The main character seems to have stepped out of a comic book. Shank has enough style, but unfortunately comes up short with substance. The game is short and doesn't offer any replayability next to the hard modus.

This game won’t exactly entertain you. The bad controls result in way too much frustration and the game isn’t even that scary, which is a shame because the game pretends to be a survival-horror game. The visits to the Himalaya are interesting enough but not enough to turn Cursed Mountain into a classic.

Borderlands Legends is a nice little extra for the Borderlands-universe, but that's it. Its strategic take on the shooter action we've come to know and love should warrant its existence. Unfortunately Borderlands Legends is plagued by bugs and bad programming choices that really prevents players from enjoying it.

The title of the game is pretty misleading. You'd expect a spectacle, but what you get is a generic arcade racer that could use a little more spunk. TNT Racers isn't incredibly bad, but it definitely isn't a game that will stick with you for long.

Space Siege is an outerspace Dungeon Siege clone. In short: there is a spaceship cramped with aliens and your the cleaning guy. With Chris 'Supreme Commander' Taylor behind te wheel Space Siege sounds promising. Unfortunatly Space Siege gives little satisfaction. All the necessary ingredients for a decent RPG are there, but there is no chef to make a nice meal out of it.

It's a daring move to put out an educational game outside of the education-circuit, but the unclear game-mechanics and educational contents of Fate of the World aren't going to get many gamers to willingly sink their teeth in this medium-rare steak of knowledge with emphasis on big issues that concern our world's population.

Two years ago we could give Piranha Bytes the benefit of the doubt, but this time around we can’t give the developer a pass. The third installment is practically a copy of its predecessor. Entire areas, enemies and weapons make their reappearance. This wouldn’t be a problem if everything was already perfect, but Risen 2 was littered with bugs and clunky mechanics. These are still present. Actually charging people for this game, shows the little respect the developer has for its gamers.

Sacred 3 is a very mediocre role-playing game. It’s not the looks and even the gameplay has its moments. It’s the fact that there’s little content, and the content that is present feels bland. The porting to pc is handled poorly as well. Furthermore, Sacred 3 tries to be funny, but unfortunately isn’t.

There’s no shortage of ambition here, but the game is too simple and repetitive to really consider it fun. The game wants to be an RPG sometimes, but it always results in dumb, simple action without any tactic. Avatar is a misses opportunity.

Where Il-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey brings something fresh to the table in a crowded genre of WWII-flying games, in no small thanks to its realism, Heroes over Europe doesn't. Adding the Ace Kill doesn't change anything about the blandness of this title. Heroes over Europe needs a change fast before people stop caring.

Risen is a RPG like you would expect from Piranha Bytes: an interesting world that dynamically reacts to your actions, filled with enough quests, areas and secrets to keep you busy for hours. But it's also filled with bugs and design flaws that will ruin the experience for most gamers.

This is a very unoriginal spiritual sequel to the EyeToy-games. After the fun you have because of the precision of the Move-controller wears off, there are nine mini-games that you rush through and that'll leave you bored. There's also no real multiplayer, a huge missed chance.

Ferrari Challenge: Trofeo Pirelli is a mediocre racegame. The cars all look very detailed and sound great, but cannot be wrecked. The AI cars can barely find their way around the track. There are multiple 16-player online modes, that work great and run smooth, but unfortunately there’s hardly any people online to compete with. This rearing horse seems crippled.
