Fifa 23 will go down in history as the last Fifa, but definitely not the best. The culmination of 30 years of soccer history doesn't lead to a satisfying climax in the franchise, mainly due to modern improvements are held back by a dilapitaded foundation. However, there is no shortage of content but with such a high goal inflation, you could wonder what that's worth anymore.- Gamer.nl

Panzer Dragoon holds a unique position in gaming history, but the new remake doesn't do it justice. Little is added, leaving only an hour of special, but archaic gameplay.- Gamer.nl

Guns of Icarus Online is in every way, shape and form better than its predecessor, but doesn't escape the fact that its gameplay concept won't stay interesting for long. The slow airships and open levels make for limited tactics and slow-paced fights. It isn't bad by any means, but just isn't interesting for long enough.- Gamer.nl

Confrontation reminds us of more traditional role playing games. But most of all, how much better those product are compared to this, even nowadays. It's a choice not to modernize the gameplay, but that doesn't excuse any developer to deliver a broken product.- Gamer.nl

Zombie Army 4: Dead War knows how to convey the feeling of an apocalyptic world. Unfortunately, this is overshadowed by repetitive missions and moderate graphics. What remains is a superficial zombie game with many shattering bodies that it must have uncomplicated co-entertainment.- Gamer.nl

Sonic Frontiers really doesn't impress in any way. Behind the technical drama, the simple puzzles and boring combat is something of a blueprint for a good three-dimensional Sonic game, but then you have to search very well.- Gamer.nl

Carrier Command: Gaea Mission is a forced sequel to the 1988 classic. Choices have been made that affect the original concept and technical issues hold it back. In essence it's still a challenging strategy game that doesn't look bad, but the awful artificial intelligence and awkward controls manage to frustrate.- Gamer.nl

The use of Kinect in Rise of Nightmares is both its strongpoint as its weakness. It immerses you in a great survival-horror experience that has enough twists and turns to keep you entertained. But at the same time, the controls deliver so many frustrating moments that we can't really recommend it.- Gamer.nl

If you still want more Assassin's Creed Valhalla after a year and a half, you will not go wrong with this Dawn of Ragnarök. With a story of about ten hours and a big world to explore and stretch the game time to at least double that, Dawn of Ragnarök offers just that. Nothing more, nothing less. However, if you are more ready for a new chapter in the Assassin's Creed series, then you can let this expansion pass you by without missing anything.- Gamer.nl

Gear Clubs free-to-play past is not what it used to be. The cars are easy to control and there is a lot to do, but in the end this racegame feels cheap.- Gamer.nl

MXGP is over excessive in its no-nonsense approach. It's a decent, even clinical racing game. It could've been way more exciting and outspoken; now it's a motocross-game without any spunk.- Gamer.nl

Kirby Battle Royale is a fun minigame collection that simply does not have what it takes to really stick. May be if the online features would work more smoothly, we would be more positive, but those are a disappointment too.- Gamer.nl

Kung Fu Rabbit serves as a nice snack for those on the hunt for 2D-platformers, but when it comes to challenge it doesn't even hold a candle to some of the bigger titles out there. It also lacks personality and the story and setting are very generic. It's still good for an entertaining afternoon though.- Gamer.nl

Naruto Shippuden: Kizuna Drive contains a fun and original story, but everything else stands in the way of your ability to enjoy it. Especially during the story-mode, the game can be more frustrating than challenging. The biggest problem is though, that all of the unlockable extras, like more characters and new assignments for the Free Mission-mode, are directly connected to the story-mode, which makes them unavoidable.- Gamer.nl

Car Mechanic Simulator 2014 lacks the variety to entertain for very long, or the depth to succeed as a simulator. It’s nothing more than a series of one note puzzles.- Gamer.nl

The attempt to reinvigorate the thirty year old Yar's Revenge is only partially successful. The stylish animé-sauce and gorgeous environments that go past you can't hide the average execution of the game behind it. The largest challenge it offers comes from your impending struggles with the controls. Other than missing any sense of reward whatsoever, it just hasn't been worked out well.- Gamer.nl

The game never dares to let you build bridges with any form of creativity. The way too fast introduction of all mechanics and little variety in level design, make this nothing more than an hour or two of standard puzzles.- Gamer.nl

At first, Turok places the player in a game with impressive atmosphere and basic but satisfying shoot-out moments. After cutting through another of those dinosaurs though, the feeling of repetition starts to kick in. In the end, the game restricts the player too much.- Gamer.nl

Flock can be an interesting case for game design students. A game that, at first glance, looks like a potential classic, but turns out to be a little bit of a dud. What's the cause and can it be fixed with some minor adjustments? The difference between a success and a failure was never this small.- Gamer.nl

Always dreamed of a night on the town with a famous soccer player? The statistics from traditional soccer management-games are traded in Lords of Football, for cheeky brats who prefer to spend entire nights at the disco: real soccer players. The game sits somewhere in between Football Manager and The Sims, but is never as good or as expansive as either of these titles. When the humor wears off you’ll just ask yourself: why am I still playing this?- Gamer.nl

Rabbids 3D controls well and manages not to frustrate its player, but the flaccid level design and cliché environments turn these upsides into pure boredom. It's a platform-game that'll be forgotten as soon as Mario, Sonic or Kirby make a sound.- Gamer.nl

Dambuster Studios acts like it made a modern blockbuster: it offers an open world with side missions, dialogue filled with moral dilemmas and an intense crafting system. However, the game does not have a soul, it seems to be missing the ever so important finishing touches and it simply does not speak to us.- Gamer.nl

Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters is a game in which you can really have some fun. A nice story with even Dutch voices. The gameplay even works with the many upgrades and tactics. Quite addictive actually. Unfortunately the game doesn't stand on it's own. The four earlier games of the Ratchet & Clank series are better and even cheaper. It's better to buy those than put 55 euros down for this latest game.- Gamer.nl

Warhammer Battle March is in nothing a serious competitor in the RTS genre. Complicated controls, dull graphics and monotonous missions make the game almost unplayable. With Red Alert 3 and EndWar approaching fast there is no real good reason to buy battle March if you want to play a RTS on your console. Even the Warhammer fans are better off with Dawn of War II. Don't say we didn't warn you.- Gamer.nl

Farming Simulator 2013 is made from the perspective of a vehicle simulator, through the spectacles of a carpenter for the many agricultural machines. Although the farming simulation and economical parts have been well developed, it misses the controversial essential elements that made the PC-version so interesting. The challenge that we praised in that edition, doesn't live up to expectations, which makes the most expensive version of the game the most limited as well.- Gamer.nl

In a world in which everything has to be faster, more fluent and easier, Wii Party U seems to adhere to blueprints from a long lost past. Its decent appearance and care that’s been put in the mini games, aren’t enough to keep this dance going. Instead of that, it generates awkward silences in between decent moments of fun. That’s extra painful for it being a party game and all.- Gamer.nl

Arkham Origins iOS is the perfect example of game development went wrong. Mortal Kombat-studio NetherRealm tried its best to create a pretty looking game, but the base concept is way too sloppy to justify its investment. The studio blindly stared at the success of Infinity Blade, instead of the famous combat system of its console counterpart.- Gamer.nl
