Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection is exactly what the word "reimagined" should mean. A loved and classic franchise, loyal to its roots, having a new life. Although the mechanics are really obsolete, it is an old-school game brilliantly crafted.

Curse of the Dead Gods shines on top of the myriads of roguelikes (the recent indie fad) thanks to its focus on its combat system and the vast number of weapons and synergies between them. It may not bring an evolution to the genre as Hades did, but nevertheless its developer has a great understanding of the intricacies of roguelikes.

Featuring a new world, a new, colorful cast of characters and brilliantly designed environments, Bravely Default 2 can be an absolute trait for a significantly large amount of time. It does fall short, though, on all the shortcomings of the genre; unsurprising and often predictable plot elements, the need for grinding and the challenge, which is there, and requires the player to trod carefully.

Ys IX: Monstrum Nox follows closely the footsteps of the Ys series and at the same time it greatly enriches the gameplay and the exploration, features that deliver a great, lengthy and enjoyable game.

Destruction AllStars is a fun multiplayer game, but the lack of content and some questionable monetization decisions prevent us from recommending it, especially if we consider that it is a full-priced game. On the other hand, as a free PS Plus game it makes perfect sense, and we hope that Sony makes it a permanent addition to the PS Plus Collection.
