Project CARS 3 took a huge turn and lost many features that made people love the series. Now it's not a game that focuses on the realistic side of motorsports but it can provide fun moments if you can overcome some of it's faults and adapt to it's new genre.

Rise of New Stars offers a great anime experience by utilizing the unique football match rhythm of the anime series and by using great anime visuals.

The realism, a deep fighting system and a decent career mode make UFC 4 one of the best entries ever in this franchise.

Summer in Mara is an ambitious approach to an adventure, with evident collecting and crafting elements. Not everything is plain sailing though; and soon, Summer in Mara will fee like winter with all the gameplay restrictions and lack of quality-of-life additions that would have made this game a paradise upon the Sea of Indies. It’s a title with character and hidden beauties, but only for players with the patience to grow over its rigidity.

Fast and Furious Crossroads is a disappointing game from an experienced studio like Slightly Mad. Low production values, an absurd driving model and a very short story make it very hard to suggest anyone playing it.

A multiplayer game that deserves more attention. With well designed maps great gameplay and lots of weapons and abilities for the heroes, this is one of the most enjoyable games of the genre we've tried this year. Too bad the community is so small that it's getting too hard to find a game.

Hotel Sowls is a really interesting game if you see it as the side project of two college students that it really is, but as a full indie game, there are many flaws to allow it to become something more than just an enjoyable but mediocre game.

The biggest flaw of Mortal Shell is how much it tries to be a Dark Souls game, especially aesthetically, something that makes all of its shortcomings so much more prevalent. Its world is quite small and restricted compared to other soulsborne games, and it lacks in terms of personality, by trying to present a dark fantasy setting so similar to what we have already seen. Nevertheless, it still is one of the most detailed 3D games of the indie scene in it still provides an entertaining 10-15 hours experience thanks mostly to the well-crafted combat system, albeit without deviating from established formulas, and a good variety of nicely designed enemies.

There is nothing heroic in Marvel’s Avengers, a game that gives the feeling of a mobile title that invades our living room under the "AAA" budget hood. The thing that saddens the most is the sacrifice of Deus Ex’s third installment in order for this microtransaction fest to be released.

While not as deep and challenging as the Darkest Dungeon, nor as strategic and methodical as XCOM 2, Othercide excels in fast paced, visceral turn-based combat delivered in an appealing graphical presentation.

Panzer Paladin unfortunately fails to provide anything memorable in its effort to recreate an 8-bit experience. It is certainly playable and maybe enjoyable to some extent, but there is no distinguishing feature or any part in which it excels in order to compete with much more accomplished indie productions.

Destroy All Humans is a fun, carefree trip to the past. Heavily focused on entertaining chaotic battles, with an improved remastered option -and despite its issues- the new version of Destroy All Humans! is a valid choice for all the alien enthusiasts out there.

Cubicity: Slide Puzzle is a beautifully crafted puzzler for players of all ages, looking to sharpen their minds…with cubic little animals! With a satisfactory amount of stages, and the promise of more to come, Cubicity: Slide Puzzle provides a nice opportunity to have fun and become smarter…that is, if you are willing to forgive its drawbacks that stem from its heavily mobile nature and the lack of using Switch-only capabilities on its code.

The breathtaking art (inspired by Czech shadow puppet theatre) and the wonderful experimental music from Hidden Orchestra create a hauntingly weird and enticing underground world that you will want to explore, even if you have to go through some repetition, padding and filler during your journey.

This is a very basic collection of some very good 8bit games, but with no museum unlockables, no effort to offer anything more that the most basic package and rudely broken in two parts so that it can generate more revenue. The Museum series from Namco needs to grow up and start treating its customers with more care and respect, otherwise few people will consider revisiting this museum.

Almost five years after its initial release, Paradox's sci-fi epic graces Sony's console and finally brings the fully fledged experience and thrill of managing every aspect of a galactic empire, from sociopolitical decisions to starship designs. Tantalus' port successfully translates the PC controls, enabling players to boldly go where no other Strategy game has gone before on consoles, and it's a journey worth making.

While the release of the Isle of Armor DLC puts Game Freak in the right steps of regaining the hearts of Pokemon trainers worldwide, the execution of the DLC leads to a mess, rather than a milestone for the series. The addition of a great Pokemon is, consequently, meritless; that, with the combination of a rather short and unimpressive main quest might lead players away, rather than ensnare them with the beauties and qualities of the Isle of Armor that are seemingly hidden.

Desperados 3 is the latest addition to the niche real-time tactics genre and it succeeds in everything it promises. Complex stealth tactics, dynamic and diverse Wild West environments and playable characters, evoke the player’s imagination and poke him to think out of the box, utilizing the available gaming tools.

As much as stylized in presentation and as thought-provoking (story-wise) it wants to be, Liberated falls apart due to its clunky gameplay and uninspiring narrative. With superficial characters in a hollow view of real-world problems it is no surprise the game comes through as a nihilistic and cynical approach thematically. There is potential though. The comic-like presentation needs more robust gameplay and a bold narrative that does not try to please everyone.

This is hands-down one of the best remasters we have seen to date. With an incredible attention to detail on all levels and a general design vibe that is oozing respect to the original material, EA has delivered the most honest and well crafted game they have released in more than a decade.

Once upon a time there was a platformer that aspired to be something good. It was called Potata: Fairy Flower, and tried to blend different things, in order to be unique. Its creators thought the world of it, but did not do their best to make it worthwhile. And it never did. In the end, Potata started her journey in a very simplistic and minimalistic manner, that does not comply with modern standards.
