More of an "expansion" than a true sequel, PixelJunk Shooter 2 manages to offer some great gaming moments, paired with unique visuals. On the downside, it tends to get too repetitive and has a checkpoint system that's one of the most unfair we've ever seen.

de Blob 2 is by all means an enjoyable game, one that will keep younger gamers happy and probably their parents too. But that constant repetition will quickly - and surely - wear the fun off.

The team at Visceral took everything the first game had to offer, vastly improved it and while they were at it, left out all that was bad. It'll scare the pants off of you, even piss you off occasionally, and you'll love it for that.

Zeit² manages to give a breath of fresh air to the side-scrolling shooter genre by cleverly utilizing various techniques of the time manipulation mechanism it introduces. Beware of the leaderboards addiction!

DCUO never really takes off. It suffers from numerous bugs and glitches, and the structure of the quests looks more suitable for a single-player RPG rather than an MMO.

Feelplus and Square-Enixʼs new try in the shooting genre falls way too short, compared even to the weakest 3rd-person shooters of the last five years.

A rich, fast-paced and suitable-for-all-tastes fighter from Capcom. Not as hardcore and well-crafted as Super Street Fighter IV, but highly enjoyable nonetheless.

With two immensely large islands to explore and dozens of cars to use, TDU lives up to its legacy. Too bad the graphics look so outdated.

Although its single player campaign is quite short and with a weak story, Killzone 3 brings back the epic, over-the-top action of its predecessor, this time with a multiplayer mode that rivals most of the major FPS games out there.
