Shadows of the Damned is everything you'd expect from a Grasshopper game, made better by the collective experience of Akira Yamaoka and Shinji Mikami working together with Suda51. It's pure pulpy, cult grindhouse fun, with some excellent action mechanics and awesome sound and music throughout.

Probably the best chess game that ever graced our systems. Battle vs Chess is full of superb modes that give the classic game a "twist", and an A.I. based on the Fritz engine that will give a good challenge to new and experienced gamers alike.

Dungeon Siege 3 is a worthy successor to the Dungeon Siege Saga, and the legitimate heir to the Throne of Console Dungeon Crawlers. However, PC fanatics will feel as if they're playing a slightly dumped down version of the first two epic games of the franchise.

Dead or Alive Dimensions is a decent fighting game with a control scheme perfectly designed for the Nintendo 3DS. Nice pacing and fun gameplay make Tecmos latest a good choice for fans of the genre, although both offline and online content is quite limited.

A simplistic hack-n-slash game, with various co-op options for local and online gameplay. The basic action/ RPG part works, but overall the game feels unfinished and with many serious bugs.

Red Faction: Armageddon is "digital playground" with some amazing toys, like the Magnet Gun and the Nano Forge abilities. There is no "open world" gameplay this time around, but the new, linear environments make this 10-hour long Campaign much more interesting. On the downside, there is no competitive Multiplayer and the survival-like mode, called "Infestation", won't provide enough online hours.

Struggling with its episodic nature, Tales of Monkey Island makes an interesting addition to the franchise. Fans will love it and newcomers will enjoy it due to its beautiful world and storyline. Nevertheless, the endless ups and downs in quality of its story progression, keep it from becoming the classic it could be.

No more Heroes: Heroes' Paradise for the PS3 is a sloppy port from the Wii version (2008). The Move controller can be used very effectively for the hack-n-slash part of the game, but the missions are repetitive and boring. Technical problems like bad frame rate, the lack of anti-aliasing and insane tearing are also present.

Even though DiRT 3 does not have major improvements over the previous games, the fact that it incorporates "Rally modes" -that Europeans will surely love- gives it a more "global" appeal. Oh, and the technology that is uses has no match!

It's not a revolution for the franchise, but rather a safe evolution -albeit very well executed. The pacing is greatly improved, along with the necessary variety of missions for the 12+ hours adventure. An honorable mention must be made for the amazing inclusion of the mission creation tools that will probably lead to a "Little Big Planet" phenomenon.

White Knight Chronicles 2 has some improvements over the first game, but cannot get away from mistakes that have a negative impact on the overall experience. Nevertheless, the fact that it includes the entire White Knight Chronicles 1, makes for a decent package.

While Two Worlds II was a step forward for Reality Pump's RPG franchise, this "castle defense" spin-off is many steps back. It's quite easy to find many longer, better and cheaper games in the market.

Darkspore is a fun and simplistic online hack-n-slash game, with a 4 player co-op mode and an addictive "chain" loot system. Spore's character creation system is also present, but with 100 different creatures to choose from, the PvP has many balance issues. The PvE mode is certainly more fun, but many players will get bored very soon from the endless grinding and repetition.

Brink is an unfinished online game that tries to play like every other modern First Person Shooter, but fails in almost every aspect. The maps (which are also used for the campaign) are terrible and the re-spawning system is ruining the flow. Texture pop-up, animation glitches and the worst bot A.I. will make you "log off" permanently from its online co-op action.

It is quite simple. There is not a single modern RPG that can stand up to the story-telling and the convincing, atmospheric world of Witcher 2. In addition to this, CD Projekt simplifies gameplay mechanics wisely, without sacrificing the depth of the overall experience.

The reintroduction of the campaign in the new SOCOM doesn't manage to offer anything memorable -save for the inclusion of the Korean female character- along with the disappointing absence of the co-op option. Fortunately, the multiplayer portion of the game succeeds in providing well designed maps that deliver intense battles.

L.A. Noire is a superb adventure game soaked in the atmosphere of the post-WW II Los Angeles. The stocky storyline is held back only by minor gameplay issues, and Team Bondi created the first Rockstar game in which you don't mind whether you fire a gun or not. At all.

An enjoyable, nicely crafted and beautiful game that does justice to the unique characteristics of the 3DS. However, we cannot recommend a full priced game that lasts only a couple of hours.

World of Tanks is a fun, unique, free to play MMO that contains a huge number of different, real-life, models. However -at the moment- there is only one available mode and the fact that players who pay a fee, have an advantage over the ones that prefer the "free model", has a negative impact on the overall balance.

This new addition to the excellent indie Turkish franchise constitutes the best and most complete choice for newcomers. Unfortunately, the veterans of the franchise won't find anything radical different that haven't already seen in previous installments.
