A cute, paranoid and short horizontal shoot 'em up with heavy Gradius influences that offers a solid retro experience, but brings nothing new to the genre.

Even though this tied to the Spirit movie franchise game is basic and repetitive at times, it is however ideal for "family friendly" gaming and quite suitable for younger gamers.

Outright Games has evolved into some kind of an expert when it comes to licensed, kids games. This is apparent in The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom, a decent dungeon crawler, suitable for all the family, that has its share of shortcomings of course, but is fun nonetheless.

A mysterious fruit of a game, Nemezis is certainly an interesting experience as a mechanical puzzle game, despite its poor voice acting and average writing. The fact that it pivots more towards strictly mechanical/ brute force puzzles than its predecessors might put off fans of the series, but it can attract fans of that type of puzzles with equal ease.

PJ Masks: Heroes of the Night is the ideal choice for very small ages and kids that play for their first time. Despite the simplicity that helps this ages though, you can’t ignore that it is extremely repeatable from start to finish.

Created mostly for young gamers who are keen on the Netflix series, Fast & Furious: Spy Racers - Rise of Sh1ft3r is a fun, arcade racing game that will appeal to everyone who enjoyed games like Mario Kart and Blur.

In an adventure that narrates an interesting story, supported by a brilliant and well-developed cast of characters, players will eventually bring peace upon the universe, but only after overcoming a series of serious bugs and some inconsistencies that push back a rather formidable title. Still, a must-see for aspiring space fighters and genre fans.

A decent but flawed experience that nevertheless shows the potential that the indie team behind it has for future projects.

With the Endwalker expansion Final Fantasy XIV becomes an even more "Final Fantasy"game with its world building, super writing and great characters. At the same time it expands its foundation as an MMO thus becoming a superb game that probably has no equal at this moment in time.

A Lovecraft-inspired visual novel with a few rogue-lite and heavy resource management elements that have a detrimental effect on the narrative and the general atmosphere.

Heaven Dust 2 is an ode to the first Resident Evil through an isometric perspective, nothing more, nothing less. And that’s all the charm it needs to have to be an absolutely fun 6-8 hours ride.

Although the idea behind In My Shadow is an intriguing one and the messages that it tries to convey to the players are important, it lacks in the delivery of said messages as well as in its overall technical and aesthetic departments.

Ruggnar brought us back to the era of Amiga and Amstrad, with a game that would sit nicely alongside Rick Dangerous, albeit providing a much easier experience. Be that as it may it seems as if it’s a shareware version of a full version game which, alas, doesn’t exist.

The well-made shooting part of Esse Proxy could have led to a memorable top-down shooter, in the vein of Hotline Miami, if it had better level design, if the story made any sense at all and if its overall design had anything memorable at all. These are a lot of "ifs" though to let this game stand out.

The hours it offers are few, but they can hold some interest initially, which in turn quickly fades. On the other hand, if you're looking for a light “timekiller” for your Switch on your vacation this summer, Treehouse Riddle might just be what you need.

My friend Peppa Pig is an excellent chance for the very young kids to enjoy the world of their favorite show, but after the initial excitement, the troubled, lazy and absurd design leads to a repeatable and a little annoying game, even for that age.

Αn interesting horror visual novel with mature themes, lots of choices and multiple endings. The characters are fleshed out, but the zombie apocalypse story has been used to death in the past and the game would benefit from voice overs which it doesn't have. Some problems with the controls when you come up with choices could also be easily averted.

Beyond the cracks of mediocrity someone might be able to spot a glimpse of the developer's vision in No Son of Mine. Alas, this only exaggerates the fact that this indie horror ends up being really mediocre and derivative.

Operation Wolf Returns is a fun blast from the past, at least for the short time it lasts. With replayability being next to non existent it's difficult to recommend it, in its full-price tag, to anyone other than highly nostalgic gamers fond of their arcade memories.

A Perfect Day presents a bittersweet story, ground to reality and in a position to create some truly heart-warming feelings. Unfortunately, many of the secondary characters are devoid of any personality while also some quality of life shortcomings, relating to the simplistic gameplay, drags the whole experience down a bit.

This new adventure of Asterix & Obelix benefits quite a lot from the charming visuals, staying faithful to the original material. It could be enjoyable in its short amount of time it takes to reach the end credits, but at the same time, it lacks the depth and challenge of other recent and better games of the genre.

Epic Party Quest is definitely fun game for all ages, in a similar vein to Mario Party, though it has a certain JRPG aesthetic which helps it to differentiate. Be that as it may, it could benefit for a bit more variety in its mini games collection.
