Even though this tied to the Spirit movie franchise game is basic and repetitive at times, it is however ideal for "family friendly" gaming and quite suitable for younger gamers.

Does Dreamworks Spirit: Lucky’s Big Adventure have any redeeming features? Sadly, I can’t think of one nice thing to say about the game. It has an easy platinum trophy that’ll unlock simply by finishing the story? It felt more like a commiseration prize for the three hours of my life I wasn’t getting back. Even if you’re a fan of the Spirit franchise, don’t waste your time on this. Kids deserve better.

More like a big waste of time
Lucky big aventure is a 3 hour long sequal to the movie Spirit Untamed, so you get a game based on a movie that isn’t out yet that tells a prequel story… you find a treasure map your mom left behind you go out on an adventure to find that treasure… and by adventure I mean go back and forth to spots on the map with the most unfun adventure mechanics to ever exist in a game.. because this game is only 3 hours long, its designed to waste your time almost as much as possible, otherwise it would be only 2 hours long… you can only gallop on spirit for 30 seconds before they need a 25 second cool down.. you of course have the option to get off the horse, go through an animation telling spirit you love them, and climb back on for a grand total of 15 seconds.. I counted.. that’s how annoying getting around in this game is.. I don’t know who thought the idea of hugging your horse for 15 seconds every 30 seconds was a good idea.. who in their right mind is going to be faced with this annoying obstacle and be like, yeah, im gonna explore the heck out of this game.. no one. .the answer is no one.. you made the adventure part of this big adventure unbarable… not only that, your hooves get dirtsy so your 30 seconds slowly turns into 5 seconds of gallop ytime until you fast travel back to the stables and give spirit a bath… everything about this game feels like its out to waste your time… after watvching the trailer I want to watch this movie, but the game itself does nothing to make you want to watch this movie, the world building, the character building.. its practically non existent.. the mai nchracter, lucky.. si the only charater voice acted and she only reads like half of her lines.
Spirit luckys big adventure is a half baked game to the fullest.

Spirit Lucky's Big Adventure isn't the worst game I've played, its playable (barely) but that doesn't give it a pass. Thereis nothing worseSpirit Lucky's Big Adventure isn't the worst game I've played, its playable (barely) but that doesn't give it a pass. Thereis nothing worse than when a game has no effort put into it and is clearly just a cash in. And thats Spirit Lucky's Big Adventure in a nutshell. The second you start a new game you are hit with the game's awful framerate and clunky controls. The horse riding in this game is the worst horse riding gameplay I have ever witnessed. Spirit rides incrediblly slow, but turns incredibly sharp which makes riding in a straight line almost impossible and travelling the map completely miserable. The side quests are boring and give you nothing for completing them. And the main missions are the same thing over and over. Ride over here, grab this item, take ot back to the npc, follow this npc without being seen, follow this horse, do this very simple platforming. Its all just padding to make the game longer. Also don't be shocked if Spirit gets stuck atleast 5 times during the game's 3 hour story, it'll happen I garantee. I didn't actually finish this game, i was determined to until the game threw the worst case of padding at me that I have every seen in a video game. Towards the end of the game Abigail (one of Lucky's friends), will send you out to get some berries so you can get past a bear on the mountain. So you head out on Spirit whcih takes atleast 5 minutes of riding there and back, grab the berries and bring them back. But Oh No!, Abigail says you got the wrong berries!. So you have to go out again, grab the new berries and come back and give it to her. But Oh No!, again Abigail says you have the wrong berries and you need to get bigger ones!. And thats where I gave up and quit. I would not buy this game for any child unless you want them to hate you for the rest of your life. Glitchy games are bad, but when a game has no soul, fails at everything its trying to do, and is incredibly boring, then that's far worst. Spirit Lucky's Big Adventure made me depressed. Expand
