Jan 11, 2024This new adventure of Asterix & Obelix benefits quite a lot from the charming visuals, staying faithful to the original material. It could be enjoyable in its short amount of time it takes to reach the end credits, but at the same time, it lacks the depth and challenge of other recent and better games of the genre.

Nov 28, 2023Asterix & Obelix Slap Them All 2 takes up the strengths and critical points of its predecessor, because both in terms of visual and gameplay it has confirmed itself as an overly conservative sequel. There are some small but welcome improvements in terms of variety of levels but the experience is not characterized by particular creative flashes and in the long run it becomes repetitive. In any case, we are talking about a decent scrolling fighting game that is above all pleasant to look at, thanks to the successful cartoony presentation of the image. If you are a fan of Asterix and Obelix and have a friend to play it with, Slap Them All 2 could still be for you, as long as you don't expect an adventure driven by particular ambitions.

Dec 15, 2023In Asterix & Obelix Slap Them All 2 the asset reuse rhymes with a missed occasion. As the drawn graphic and the original plot tries to do something new for its genre, the game falls again into a massive reuse of what done in 2021. It’s still a fun game and it can be a good solution to share some good evenings playing together with a friend, but only the most irreducible fans will accept to buy it.
