A webcomic-based 2D point and click adventure that focuses on its adult humor, but offers little in terms of challenge.

Lost in Random mostly benefits from its "Tim Burtonesque" visuals and quirky design, but unfortunately the whole experience is dragged down by a tiring card-based battle system, with cards that are bland.

Unfortunately, South Park: Snow Day! is a very shallow multiplayer game, with overly simplistic story and gameplay. The familiar and welcoming vulgar humour of the animation may be here but it can't help to hide a truly mediocre game.

An interesting and well written story, told through an adventure game created by just two people. Even though it becomes tiresome and repetitive at moments, it has a certain charm and multiple gameplay elements to keep you going until the end.

It's probably the most bland and repetitive DBZ game of this generation, with its only saving grace being the immense roster of characters.

Turbo Kid is a fun metroidvania game and a welcome continuation of the cult film. It ticks all the right boxes of metroidvania design and incorporates the bike in a clever way. Alas, the behaviour of the enemies are extremely derivative and its pixel art is not the best we've seen.

    N++
N++ is a strange game. You'll love it or you'll hate it and it all depends on whether you are fond of its minimalistic, retro-like very hard puzzles or not.

While the original Lost Horizon was the closest thing we have seen in an adventure genre "Indiana Jones" revival, its sequel falls short on so many fronts that it is difficult to recommend at its exorbitant launch price.

The recreation of the fall of the Bakumatsu Era at the tip of your sword is as exciting and entertaining as expected, but it seems that apart from a fresh coat of (glitchy) paint, Sega didn’t do even the basic refurbishment to bring properly this game to 2023. Unlike the wonderful job they did with the Kiwami remakes, here it feels more like Sega used the game as a training exercise for its studio to learn the Unreal Engine and simply didn’t bother to invest in anything else.

What used to be a recipe for success back in the day, returns with some modern-day additions, but with its core mostly unchanged and unevolved. Despite offering some of the best visuals ever jeweling a Pokemon game, it falls victim to its repetitiveness, unchanged mechanics and indifferent gameplay.

Even though it has some "Nintendo magical moments" Yoshi's New Island never truly shines.

Releasing a “viral pandemic” game in this timeframe would normally be an instant success. But the good sets and a very solid camera work are not enough to hide neither the very poor acting of most characters, nor the disappointingly shallow and lackluster choices of this title. A release straight to Netflix would probably work better, both for the game and for the investment from the side of the player.

The campaign of Modern Warfare 2 is (if not the best) one of the best this franchise has offered over the years, and the remastering by Beenox is great. But the lack of any other mode is keeping us from recommending it at its initial selling price.

While its atmosphere and overall world manage to conjure wonderful memories from our long lost childhood, the bad flow of the story, the ridiculous characters and the severely underwhelming puzzles make this game a lacking addition to the great roster of Daedelic.

Mercenaries 3D feels more like an oversized tech demo rather than a full game. Capcom has made serious efforts to deliver something decent, but it is obvious that a mode packed as an extra in Resident Evil 5, cannot justify its full price tag.

This trilogy is a prime example of why nostalgia is sometimes best left undisturbed. All three titles—especially the atrocious Angel of Darkness—mostly serve as reminders of the rough early days of 3D platformers.

In very few words, Achilles: Legends Untold is a (very) low budget version of Diablo 4. Any class system is absent, the enemy variety is seriously lacking, the upgrade system is quite derivative and the combat system changes from tactical to pure button mashing half-way through. Nevertheless, it maintains enough pleasant non-stop and easy going action that it could very well qualify as a "guilty pleasure" game.

An open, isometric puzzle game loaded with tons of complex brain teasers, packed in an iconic-movie-franchise theme. But it could have been much better if it didn't carry so many mobile-gaming mentality features.

Probably the weakest and surely the shortest and most simplified addition to the long running and very successful franchise from Insomniac. We hope that this is not the end of the beloved Lombax.

There is not much to say about Elderand other than that is designed in the most typical way in all of its different aspects. Unfortunately, nothing worth pointing out about it be it positive or negative.

Full of diverse elements, One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows does not ultimately manage to deliver the game the fans craved for. Instead, we have a grind-fest built around a system of fetch quests and repetition. The moderately fun battle and the genius introduction of the player into the game world do not manage to make the game shine and the outcome is that of a missed opportunity.

Even though it is offered as a "budget-price title", Gaijin's latest is not capable of standing next to some great action/ hack 'n' slash games the genre has offered in this generation. Nevertheless Ayumi's blades and time manipulating capabilities can be charming.

Alwa’s Awakening may have some shortcomings, mainly the low enemy variety and relentless backtracking, but it is nevertheless a game with challenging and clever platforming that is an easy choice for anyone who is fond of platformers from the 8-bit era.

If you want to "play for free", then Age of Empires Online has enough content to keep you entertained for about forty hours. But if you want to play it as a completive "pvp" RTS, the only way to do it is by purchasing the Premium content. If you choose the second way, you will find out that AOE Online has far less content and options than some older AOE titles.

Vatra Games made decent efforts to deliver a unique experience that would be faithful to the Silent Hill games of old. The Chechs failed, but that doesn't mean their game is not capable of delivering some enjoyable survival horror gaming hours.

"You should not judge a book by its cover", a saying that applies ideally to this game. By no means a perfect or even great game, Train Station Renovation can be extremely relaxing and addictive. But alla that up until the point it gets repetitive and the bugs some times ruin the experience.

Snowblinds latest game seems like a relic from the previous generation. The story is weak and the gameplay has lots of problems. On the upside, the co-op mode is an excellent treat for fans of Tolkiens work.

An old-fashioned adventure with an intriguing setting and a challenging set of riddles, which however fails to distinguish itself from the rest of the bunch.
