A spin-off to the legendary Yakuza franchise that deviates from the main story-line and brings zombies to the front. It's quite strange, it has lots of problems and it is made mostly for fans of the franchise.

Scars Above is a solid first effort by Mad Head Games, albeit flawed. The game has soulslike gameplay elements, yet with three difficulty levels it is still accessible to the mainstream crowd. The story doesn’t bring anything new to the sci-fi genre, but it doesn't disappoint either. If you are looking for a game to kill time between big releases, Scars Above is a good candidate.

Inversion is condemned to eternal oblivion due to the defiant lack of marketing and advertising. However it is a solid game, with satisfactory gameplay mechanics, some consistently implemented fresh ideas and interesting storyline which ends with a cliffhanger that will remain unresolved. Worshipers of the Gears of War religion, give Inversion a chance.

The eccentric aesthetic of Tokyo 42 is its biggest selling point. It’s a joy to run around the skyscrapers and having some fun shootouts. It’s a pity that the camera proves to be our biggest enemy alongside the issue of repetition.

It's not a bad game. It just hasn't anything new to offer compared to the first installment from 2009 . So, if you're new to the franchise, you're going to have a good time. If not, don't expect much.

A charming little action/ adventure that is ideal for byte-sized gaming during the summer. But that’s just about it.

Stranded is an interesting experiment in storytelling and offers a unique experience that can captivate its audience and it can become the basis for a great full-fledged adventure game in the future.

Boy Loves Girl has a charming art direction and some clever gameplay mechanisms, but soon it gets repetitive and a little boring.

Itagaki's absence is evident in every aspect of this sequel that can barely carry the weight of the "Ninja Gaiden" name on its shoulders.

Unless you have a group of hardcore Star Trek fans ready to loose their inhibitions and go into live roleplaying, Star Trek Bridge Crew has little to offer with its simplistic gameplay, dated visuals and low quantity, quality and variety of missions.

It's strange, "bizarre" some would say, but this old fighting game from Capcom still has some life in it. Too bad its way too overpriced.

By borrowing ideas from Rez and Frequency, Entwined offers a "chill-out" experience that can be difficult and challenging at times.

Chocobo GP is a real blast from the past. Somehow, however, it seems to ignore the modern standards, resulting in a game that feels -and possibly is- incomplete. Don’t really be discouraged; it can be perfect for families with young children, who are looking for a child-friendly experience, and it can provide enough amusement to justify a purchase.

A somewhat disappointing ending for a great game. Ep.4 loses all the momentum that was built in the previous installment and is mostly reduced into a puzzle hunt.

A cute, paranoid and short horizontal shoot 'em up with heavy Gradius influences that offers a solid retro experience, but brings nothing new to the genre.

Worms Revolution is a refreshing new direction on the traditional Worms recipe, but falls short on being called a "revolution" due to some gameplay problems and lack of truly new content.

Even though this tied to the Spirit movie franchise game is basic and repetitive at times, it is however ideal for "family friendly" gaming and quite suitable for younger gamers.

Although Get Even has a lot of pieces missing to be called a great game, it surely is one that worth the attention of players who like linear psychological horror games. It might not be the best in the genre, but it is clearly a great first try from Farm 51.

The Italians over at Milestone are something of a "motor-sports" experts. The sad thing is that MUD, even though it is quite enjoyable, is not in a position to offer a realistic and authentic Motocross Championship experience.

OVRDARK delivers a functional horror experience that can scare players, while also adequately drawing inspiration from Resident Evil 7. However, its weak voice acting, subpar sound design, and short length detract from the overall experience.

It seems that Milestone was not quite sure where to go with this one. MXGP3 can be a very difficult sim racer totally unsuitable for casual gamers, or a bland arcade racer when you turn on the driving assists. And none of these two faces of the game really works.

It's always nice to return to the dark and foreboding world of Doom 3, and the chance to relive it in a Virtual Reality environment is truly welcomed, but in this version Doom 3 really shows its age.

Hotel Sowls is a really interesting game if you see it as the side project of two college students that it really is, but as a full indie game, there are many flaws to allow it to become something more than just an enjoyable but mediocre game.

Cave Digger 2: Dig Harder is a co-op roguelike cave exploration game based on a repetitive cycle of exploring caves-mines and collecting. The gameplay loop, while simple, is effective and the game's four-player co-op mode makes runs much more entertaining. However, the movement system and some technical issues detract from the gameplay experience.

Tennis World Tour 2 Complete Edition offers minor improvements, but it still remains a game not suited for casuals. Hardcore fans on the other hand will likely spend many hours with the game and will appreciate the new arenas, international tournaments, added players and gear that this edition brings to the table.
