15 years later, Dead Space remains one of the best action survival horror games and its new refreshed take is the perfect way for new players and old players alike to wear their adult diapers and jump (back) in the visceral horror of USG Ishimura.

The first DLC of the excellent Resident Evil 4 remake could lead to some mixed feelings. On one hand its quality matches the high quality of the base game, delivering satisfying action against old and new enemies, with gameplay that holds a few welcoming surprises. On the other hand, the story of Ada Wong is so integral to the main story that it poses the question: should it be included in the main game instead of being offered as a paid DLC?

With a cast of memorable characters, a compelling and intriguing story, so many gameplay choices and a world that is rich with lore and history, but still manages to be a perfect entry for new and experienced players alike, Fire Emblem: Three Houses is a must-have title on the Switch that also raises the bar and our expectations for future strategy/ RPGs.

L.A. Noire is a superb adventure game soaked in the atmosphere of the post-WW II Los Angeles. The stocky storyline is held back only by minor gameplay issues, and Team Bondi created the first Rockstar game in which you don't mind whether you fire a gun or not. At all.

This sequel improves many of the original's gameplay elements even though without reinventing the wheel. Once again, reconnecting the world through its unique online cooperation is enough to hook players for hours, especially with the new map of Australia being so diverse and a joy to traverse. However, the main plot is a step back from the first game. While it's still well-written and features excellently directed cutscenes, its twists and turns often fall flat, and some plot threads lead nowhere.

Horizon: Forbidden West is excellently ported to PC by Nixxes, providing a larger audience the opportunity to experience Aloy's much improved new adventures.

Despite some shortcomings, the overall experience of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is definitively a positive one. The content is extensive and the production values are very high. The plot may sometimes feel stretched a bit too thin, probably a "side-effect" of its longevity, but the excellent writing of its characters more than overcome this.

Capcom once again strikes a high note with the new Resident Evil entry, though this time its ambition introduces a few rough edges. Requiem delivers excellent survival horror during Grace’s sections and offers a wealth of Easter eggs and references for longtime fans to dissect. However, in attempting to incorporate the best elements from the franchise’s many, and often wildly different, installments, it occasionally feels somewhat disjointed. Even so, Requiem stands as yet another strong addition to Capcom’s seemingly never-ending streak of quality releases.

Dispatch proves that the episodic format in gaming is far from derivative, it just requires the right content, a timely and consistent release schedule, and, of course, strong writing to make its cliffhangers land. This essentially visual-novel experience excels on all fronts, keeping us hooked each week and making us genuinely care about its characters. It ensures we think twice before every decision, no matter how big or small their impact on the story.

Although the first MGS game, especially story-wise, is really missing from this collection, you can't overlook the overall quality of the package. A must have for fans and newcomers in Kojima's franchise alike.

The team at Visceral took everything the first game had to offer, vastly improved it and while they were at it, left out all that was bad. It'll scare the pants off of you, even piss you off occasionally, and you'll love it for that.

By borrowing many ideas from other games (the reboot of Tomb Raider and Far Cry Primal to be more specific) Guerilla’s maiden voyage into the “open-world” genre is quite successful, engaging and charming, but not without its flaws.

Another great return for one of Capcom's most successful franchises. Several important changes have been made, though not all hit the mark, such as the ease of finding monsters, which diminishes the hunting aspect. Additionally, the game engine sometimes struggles to keep up with the open-world design. Nevertheless, the thrill of battle remains, the world of Wilds is beautiful, and the excellent combat system is among the best we've seen.

Surely not your average first person shooter. On the contrary, Dishonored uses stealth in a way only the Thief games have managed to do and delivers a superb steam punk experience we haven't seen in many years.
