It may have taken Atlus quite a long time to complete the fifth Persona game, but this was time well spent! Persona 5 is a superb JRPG filled with social messages, great gameplay and some new ideas that take the franchise to the next level.

The most epic trilogy of this generation ends in an almost perfect way. It doesn't matter whether you're a fan of the franchise or not. You owe it to yourself to save Earth.

Is this truly Hideo Kojima's last game in the legendary MGS franchise? If so he will be sorely missed because this epic conclusion to the Metal Gear saga is a true video gaming masterpiece.

The latest game in this legendary franchise offers an experience like no other. The majestic graphics along with the superb motion control design create the ideal "swan song" for the Wii.

It is, without a doubt, Naughty Dog’s finest moment and an experience that surpasses all the Uncharted games that preceded it.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the game where everything gets bigger and better. With the addition of the biggest roster of fighters to ever appear in a Super Smash Bros. game, a huge variety of fighting stages and an abundance of playable modes that cater to every gaming taste and style, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is one of the best games to grace a Nintendo console so far.

Playdead did it again and created a masterpiece which manages to surpass the masterpiece of Limbo in every possible way. We don’t believe a higher praise could be said for their second game.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 took us by surprise. We expected a fun and interesting game. What we didn’t expect was one of the best JRPGs of this console generation. The story evokes a wide range of emotions, the characters are so well written it’s easy to grow attached to them, and the combat system is deep, offering plenty of options for party development. On top of that, the OST is nothing short of a masterpiece, elevating the entire experience. This is a game that proudly stands among the best in the genre.

After the success of Forza Horizon 3 it seemed almost impossible for Playground Games to top what was achieved in that game. But the truth is that Forza Horizon 4 is even better, a triumph of fun, “arcade” racing that hits all the right spots and delivers a sensational experience.

Naughty Dog once again delivers a unique cinematic experience that has no equal. With superb graphics, unbelievable set-pieces, superb story telling and great characters, Uncharted 3 is a genre-defining game. Next time though, we'd like to see better shooting mechanics.

Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth is a truly phenomenal game, and such a high quality production that should be the new benchmark for JRPGs.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a fine example of a game created with utter love and passion from its development team. Every fan of Mario owes it to themselves to add the new entry of the franchise to their collection, earning in extend a truly memorable gaming experience.

Brutal, Repulsive, Revolting and Irresistible. Could be an acrostic like BRRI but it ain’t. It’s Bloodborne.

The people over at Playground Games proved -yet again- that they are capable of delivering the very best arcade racing experience. Forza Horizon 5 is truly a superb game in a league of its own.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of those rare cases of games that proves that the future of gaming lies in the past and the glory days of hardcore RPG gaming.

Street Fighter 6 delivers an excellent sequel full of online and offline content that retains the status of the franchise as the king of the fighting genre. It is certainly no small feat managing to not only reach but also surpass the already high bar of its predecessor.

A gorgeous, lovely remake of the original, this new Demon’s Souls versions is the perfect gateway for new players to the soulsborne genre.

Although it starts as an utterly mediocre game, Undertale slowly builds up to a meaningful adventure. It cleverly breaks the fourth wall presenting a humorous and touching critique on the way genocides casually occur in the monsters population of predominantly JRPGs.

Simply put, this is the best game we've seen on 3DS.

Yet another magnificent upgrade from Larian to an already spectacular game. It just begs the question of where this team will go next.

Along with Mario Kart 8, this is by far the best Wii U game. With tons of content and superb design, this SSB will keep you hooked for months.

The adventures of the sexy witch were superb when thye were first released on the Wii U and -even though there’s nothing really new to find in this edition- they remain superb on Nintendo’s newest console.

Xenoblade Chronicles is a technological achievement and a breath of fresh air in a decaying breed that desperately needs such efforts to keep it goin΄. Players need to invest dozens of hours roaming on the petrified body of Titan Bionis to reveal the secret and the true power of Monado. And they're going to be such great hours!

Even though owners of the original edition won’t find something truly new here that justifies another purchase, the Deluxe edition of Mario Kart 8 is a masterpiece that everyone who hasn’t tried the original game should definitely play.

Simply put, this is a unique gaming gem that comes around only once in every 10 years. Every PS3 owner should be proud to add it to his or her collection.
